Delicious Pho! If you’re looking for an authentic perfectly balanced pho, than this is the place you should come to.

They also have Bobba, which my husband loved; although, I was not such a fan of the blended/smoothie Taro Bobba with Lychee Jelly because it was a little too much on the sweet side. The staff was also very attentive and friendly!

We will be repeat customers for sure!

Great pho! Surprised that we were just about the only ones there for dinner tonight at 5:15 as their food was delicious. We also got the chicken wings that were very crispy and had a nice sauce on the side.

Wow! Glad to have found this gem so close to home. Typically have to go downtown DSM for this kind of quality. Got the combination pho, taro and matcha milk tea, chicken wings, and crab rangoon. Will definitely be back!

The Mongolian beef ($16) was very dry and tough. Portions were acceptable. The egg rolls (2 for $6) were ok, a little light on the flavor. The banh mi (8$) was decent but a little small and not a lot of meat on it. Brown sugar Milk tea boba ($7.50) was pretty much just milk. The Bun ($17) was ok, not a lot of depth of flavor. Maybe it was off night but from my experience, I’m struggling to see where the 4.8 rating comes from. Would prefer to see the quality match the prices.

My son loves pho so trying a new place for his birthday, could kick myself for not coming here sooner. Everything was amazing. Our waitress Des helped so much, I’m on a low carb diet so she explained how to order without noodles. Her suggestions were perfect, my son’s pho was perfect, perfect spring rolls. One item I was blown away with was the wonton soup, I’ve never had a more flavor full broth. We’ll definitely be back, I already am thinking about what I’ll order. Thank you for a delightful, delicious lunch.

I’m new to Des Moines. Whenever I move I look up where I can eat my staple Asian dishes and man am I glad that this place is less than 10 minutes from me.

Shaken beef:
The shaken beef was real flavorful. It was $20, they do mix the steak with potatoes so it looks like a lot but some of them are potatoes. I think if it was $20 I would add just maybe a little bit more steak pieces. The flavor really clings on to the meat and potatoes though.

Beef pho: we enjoyed this traditional pho. Great for a stormy day meal!

What stands out to me is their specials menu. I’ll be back cuz there’s a few dishes on there that stand out to me like the crispy noodle/bird’s nest and I’ve not had crispy chicken with fish sauce since I was in middle school so I’m very excited to go back and try them again.

I’ve been here three times now and tried multiple dishes and drinks. They’re all delicious – I particularly love the Mongolian Beef. Their pho is the best that I’ve had in the Des Moines area. All of the staff that I’ve interacted with have been friendly and kind. Great restaurant!

We stopped here for a late lunch, and couldn’t have been happier with out food and experience. We were both starving, our food came quickly and was hot and fresh. Everything was made to order, and the vegetables in our dish were just right, with a bit of crunch instead of being soggy. Our drinks were never empty, the portions were big, and the price was perfect. We can’t wait to come here again.

We were in Des Moines for the weekend and were lucky enough to stumble upon this place. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is delicious and fresh! I loved the spring rolls and pho, my son loved the boba, and my nephews enjoyed the Chinese menu that had staples they were used to like orange and sesame chicken.

First time customer. Ordered chicken fried rice to-go over the weekday lunch hour. Portion size was enough to make two full meals. The flavor of the fried rice itself was 10/10…I was blown away! Definitely the most flavorful I’ve had in Grimes and the neighboring towns. I’m giving the dish 4/5 stars because although the amount of chicken in the dish was generous (and very much appreciated), I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor of the chicken. It seems like it may have been cooked in bulk ahead of time to be used for various dishes on the menu and then just thrown into the rice to be warmed up, which is understandable, but it does detract from the flavor. It’d be amazing if it could be cooked fresh to order, but still overall happy with this dish.

It would also be nice to see some lunch special offerings. For example, a smaller main portion but included is a Vietnamese egg roll or crab rangoon, etc.

Looking forward to coming back to try other menu items in the future!
