It’s a Chinese restaurant, but interestingly there were quite a lot of Western guests as well. The meal was a time-limited buffet.
Soft drinks like Coke and lemon soda were included and constantly refilled by the staff. Plates were cleared or replaced quickly whenever they were empty, which made the service feel attentive.
For buffets, I usually gravitate toward Japanese items. They had sushi and sashimi here—not a huge selection, but decent. By the time I got to the BBQ area, I was already full, so I can’t really comment on that section.
I skipped the stir-fried dishes and carbs altogether. There were also crab legs, but they were honestly too much work—even as a seafood lover, I gave up on them.
There was some light, slightly awkward small talk with the people sitting across from me, which didn’t help the appetite. After about an hour, we left early since we still had to head downtown.
Overall, a solid buffet experience with good service, though timing and crowding definitely affect what you get to enjoy.
The grilled oysters were amazing, and we made it a goal to grab at least one with every round, lol. The garlic grilled oysters were by far tastier than the cheese ones. The lobster tails were a decent size and not overcooked, especially nice with the butter. While the lobster tails were not AYCE, there was a seafood boil style dish with unlimited lobster claws, which we definitely took full advantage of.
The overall selection was great for the holiday price we paid. There was a nice variety of sushi, including salmon and tuna sashimi. The Peking duck was juicy and delicious. They also had prime rib, though that was unfortunately pretty dry and tough to chew.
Service was excellent throughout. There was an area we initially thought was a stage, but it turned out to be a Christmas photo op spot, and the staff kindly took some great family photos for us. Everyone left full and happy, and if you know, you know, pleasing Asian parents, especially with food, is no easy task, lol.
Unfortunate , but as all my reviews this is a very honest one . For advertisement facts the only 2 “good days ” Friday and Saturday, but thats because of the sea food , and lobster tails you get 1 , so you know .
In our experience as foodies , its better food and better places .
My husband and I decided to go give it a try, we’re foodies and the reviews sound great . Got to mention my rate on the food is based on what was available due to coming in just 1 hour prior closing .
Welcoming from the moment you stepped in , everyone is very friendly and organized, first all you can eat we didn’t had to ask for napkins, they bring them just on time without been ask .
Food was delicious for most , top was the lobster, the little crabs , steam fish , fresh sushi , didn’t see much variety but again we wore late . Its a very small area of food , price was normal for the all you can eat , location and such . Drinks wore great , we had Mango Mango .
Managers wore around tables speaking with patrons to make sure everything was good , we appreciate it very much
Omg the clams wore also delicious.
1 think I didn’t like at all the creme brulee , needs a new recipe, texture , flavor, my humble opinion
We definitely are going another time to do it earlier and see the difference in the food availability. Follow me for updates and recommendations on the best food and restaurants around .
The biggest letdown of this buffet is its dessert station. The sago mango pomelo soup sounds great in theory, but it was too sweet – especially for a buffet catered to Asian palates. The fruit selection was sad – pineapple, cantaloupe, grapes, and oranges.
Overall, I would say we were a little bit on the disappointed side. Good value for price though.
The “G8 Afternoon Tea” menu felt like a tasting journey for me. It was fantastic to get to try so many different items I’d never had before. My friend and I were seated in a comfy booth in a spacious and uncrowded room, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were wonderful—so cheerful and full of energy, and they really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The food was presented beautifully, and we especially loved the unique textures and flavors of most of the dishes.
Overall, it was another wonderful experience.
