I wish I could take that one star away! 05/19/2023 Dragon inn Lost a long time customer, our last meal which cost almost 100 was awful. The rice soaking in oil and had a off taste , the BBQ pork was grey around the edges and the vegetables were slimy and looked really old, the almond chicken was dry and hard ,and the only thing you could taste in the soup was salt. Absolutely the worst!!!! I hope I don’t get sick just of the few bites I had. I called and asked for a refund and the owner if that is who he even was , was awful and didn’t care one bit about our concerns . No refund and no offer to correct the issue. He said if I didn’t like the food don’t come back. My daughter is now complaining of a stomach ache. Horrible experience and a huge waste of money.

The waitress was very friendly and on top of everything. The broth they made their soup out of was amazing. The soup had big mushrooms and they didn’t skimp. I enjoyed the whole meal.

On Friday, May 19, 2023, my family ate at Dragon Inn for the first time. The restaurant has a pond/fountain/wishing well inside that the kids enjoyed but to be honest the inside décor is pretty plain and unimaginative. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and chow mein. My wife also got a combination meal. My daughter ordered the cheeseburger and my 3-year-old son just ordered French fries because we can still get away with that Our server was extremely nice but the food did come out in a staggered order and she did forget to bring us our soup. We kindly reminded her and she did apologize and eventually bring it out although we had already started to eat our entrees. I thought the sauce on my chicken was excellent and the rest of the food that my family ate was pretty decent. However, I don’t know if when you combine the taste of the food with the ambiance and value if we will be back.

Typical weak asian offering that people with zero knowledge of this cuisine seem to enjoy. Egg Fu Yong was overpowered by industrial hash browns, which was quite bizarre honestly. That dish is not supposed to ‘crunch.’ Wife’s wonton soup seemed like their egg drop, with a few wontons, char sui, and vegs thrown in. Rangoons were overdone, but probably the highlight of the lunch. I did not choose to go here…

I love this place!

They have the best teriyaki in town, they’re super quick, our waitress was fun and attentive. The food portion are huge and you will definitely have leftovers.

I also really enjoy the decor. It’s so pretty!

I have never had Chinese food that tastes or looks like this. It was horrible. Like canned food. I have had each item that I ordered from many different restaurants from multiple states. This was like eating at Long John Silver’s with all of the mounds of breading and it tasted like Long John’s too. I am glad some people like this to keep them in business because I am VERY surprised the food keeps business. Moving on to the next place.

Finally! I cried when Kaylon closed and have been looking non successfully for great Chinese since. I was so excited and happy with the food I got at Dragon Inn. When I told they waitress how great it was, she told us yes it is similar to Kaylon because the owner is the son of the owners of kaylon. I’m so happy to find yummy Chinese again!

Man… I really don’t write bad reviews on places but I feel obligated to do so this time. I’m dumbfounded that this has 4 stars… the only good thing about was that the waitress was nice as can be. The food was just nasty. Had a hair in my soup to start, which is not a big deal it happens but it was par for the course for what was in store for the rest of the meal. Honestly the Chinese food at Safeway is better than this. The chow mein, was awful, it looked smellled and tasted like cat food. The food was all drenched in random sauce to cover up how bad it was. I’d say that maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but my wife got something completely different and it was the same story, nasty dried out meat drenched in sauce to cover up how gross it was. I gave it 2 stars only because the waitresses were trying hard and were super nice and polite.

My grandparents favorite restaurant. Essentially their guilty pleasure when they want a comfortable and familiar night out. The food is medicore to the core when it comes to Chinese restaurants. But honestly, I don’t have any complaints. The place did its job, it filled my stomach.

Best Chinese food in the area. Always great portions, and the food doesn’t taste oily or weigh you down. Highly recommended.
