This place was okay for a quick meal. The staff was nice and I was thankful for they were open on Christmas Eve. They are super close to St. Mark’s hospital, which is great to have an alternative food option than the hospital and they say on the building they can do deliveries. The food quality seemed great. They broccoli was fresh and the shrimp was not over cooked. The flavor however was only okay in my opinion. The walnut shrimp sauce was super runny and did not stick well to the meal to give better flavor. For the cost, I was a little disappointed, as the ratio of shrimp and veggie was sub par. I paid extra for fried rice and there was very little flavor there as well. I do like that they add some veggies to the rice. I like to put sweet and sour sauce on my rice, so I got a small side. It was also runny and not flavorful. Overall, it’s not a bad place to get a quick bite if you’re hungry, but I wouldn’t seek it out for my favorite go to restaurant.

Have loved this place for over 20 years. Would have given it 5 stars for food but not today. I love the sweet plump orange chicken and flavorful ham fried rice…. What happened? Chicken was over fried over cooked jerky, no sauce, ham fried rice was super dry and lacked full flavor. Compare pics on menus and this ??? Not my orange chicken!

I ordered the sesame chicken. The chicken and sauce were a 10/10. Tender and great flavor. The rice was your average fried rice, but the chicken alone earned a 5 star rating. The dining room was open for dine in customers.

Ordered delivery tonight and they didn’t bring my whole order – there is no way to communicate with order issues to the diner except through a customer review. So I paid $30 for delivery of one meal and some was missing (my egg rolls). I tried the sesame chicken because the description was crispy sweet breaded chicken. It was soggy and grainy with no crisp at all, sadly. Won’t order again.

I was referred to Dragon Diner while I was getting my haircut. I’ve only been in Utah for a couple weeks.
They have a great business model. No dishes and limited dining you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table in to go containers.
One of the owners came by to check on me and asked me if my order was spicy enough, I ordered spicy shrimp, well I like spicy food so it could have been a lot more spicy for me, but, I get that most people would complain that the food was too spicy. So she suggested that the next time I came back and I will, I ask for it to be “Spicy”
I really liked the people and the food I had was the best Chinese food I’ve had so far in Utah.
I would recommend Dragon Diner without hesitation!

I walked in and ordered, waited for my take out. I live two minutes away. I got home. The soup, rice and lemon chicken was just warm. I have ordered from there before and have never had this problem. I was very unhappy and called to report the issue. I may not ever return

I had a decent experience, but the Tso’s Chicken had a strong fishy taste which is not something I would typically expect or want. The fried rice was fine, but also a little underwhelming.

Honestly a little confused by the reviews for this place. Went there based on the good reviews and shocked. Service was okay, food came quickly…too quickly. Meaning couldn’t possibly be very fresh. The “fried rice” was from a steamer. The extra spicy had bell peppers to spice it up and wasn’t at all hot. Had one of the worst egg Foo young ever. Food was different temperatures. Soup was okay but not hot. Everything served in to go containers even though ate in. Hate Styrofoam and hated eating out of it. Also prices are higher than shown on internet. We paid $15 each for lunch special and threw a lot of it away. Not sure why anyone would think it’s great. Place seems dirty and cuts way too many corners to have quality food. I hate to expose a place like this especially during these hard times, but when people spend their hard earned money eating out, they deserve better. I hope they take this information as constructive criticism and step up.

It’s sad that you can no longer eat in here at the Dragon Diner. I used to eat in here every time I passed through and it was a lovely place. It is now take out only. The food is good and the portions are quite large so be prepared to get a lot even when you order a lunch meal.

My teriyaki chicken was partially raw. I didn’t want to drive back so I just threw it away. Sad.
We just need to replace this restaurant with like a Panda Express please
