Honest review is this place “should” be 2.5 stars, even by cheap Asian food standards.
Tofu is well cooked, but isn’t even cut into single bite chunks.
Brown sauce wasn’t inedible, but we didn’t *want* to eat it, even though we were hungry.
There was a good amount of food on the plate for the meals though.
Sushi we think you can’t really go wrong with, but there wasn’t much flavor in them and there wasn’t much variation in texture either.
Rice wasn’t super old, but it wasn’t sticky.

Food is really good here! I had gotten carryout once before, and this was the first time I had eaten in the restaurant. Surprisingly at 1 pm it was pretty busy and we got the last table. One of the tables was very loud and made it hard for my friend and I to have a decent conversation without yelling. The restaurant is small, the atmosphere is that of a strip mall chinese restaurant.
The food was really good. The lunch specials we got, as well as them providing me with a mix of Egg Drop & Wonton Soup. I wasn’t super happy they charged me an extra $1 for that as it doesn’t take much effort to get a bowl of Egg Drop Soup and add 3 wontons to it, but so be it.
My friend got an eggroll instead of the soup and it was so incredibly greasy. The oil dripped off of it, it certainly wasn’t degreased before leaving the kitchen. I would have said something if I had gotten the egg roll instead of the soup.
I ended up getting the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, medium spicy and my friend got the Cashew Chicken, which she enjoyed. We also ordered a Golden Dragon Roll to share and she ordered two pieces of Salmon Nigiri, which looked and tasted delicious.
The price of the meal that we got was excellent, and super reasonable for what we got and the quality (minus the egg roll) of the food.

A very cozy, friendly Chinese restaurant. The food is quite good. A variety of Chinese and Japanese dishes. Considering it’s small size they have an excellent menu. I go there every other Thursday with some friends. Since I speak some Chinese Mandarin , it’s fun to practice with the friendly waitresses.
Highly recommend this Chinese/Japanese restaurant.

My husband and I ate lunch at this place and we liked it very much. We were warmly welcomed, the place is pleasant and cozy. The food came out quite quickly and the flavor was tasty. The portions of the meals are quite generous. We were able to eat half of it and take each other. With our eyes closed, we recommend this place. ❤️

We eat here an awful lot and my jumbo shrimp fried rice was sub par tonight. The rice kernels were not plump and soft but were definitely harder tonight. Lets say when they are On point the food is great, but its becoming 50/50 now. I’ve eaten enough fried rice from you to know when it’s fresh and when it’s not.

First time customer long time Chinese carry out consumer. My regular stops in Baltimore and Carroll have become trash lately with old eggs and cheaper ingredients. Dragon Best was incredible Foo Young, food was still super hot after a long commute and well packed/prepared. Easy online ordering through the website and friendly service. I’m glad to have found this place and will be back.

Small, basic restaurant in a strip mall. If you don’t already know about it,, you may not notice it from the road, but that would be a shame because the food is terrific.
As in most Chinese restaurants, the meal starts with fried noodles, Chinese mustard and apricot sauce. The noodles are delicious, the apricot sauce is sweet and the mustard is strong.
We requested a pot of tea, and they brought a nice size pot of excellent oolong tea and two tea cups.
My wife had the lunch special shrimp and broccoli in garlic sauce. It came with fried rice, an egg roll and soup. She had the egg drop soup. Her meal was very good.
I had the lunch special teriyaki grilled salmon. It’s easy to overcook salmon, but my salmon was just right, and the teriyaki sauce was quite flavorful.
My meal came with salad, a side of broccoli, and white rice. I declined the rice. The salad was crisp and fresh. It came with a Thai peanut sauce and was excellent.
There’s free parking in the strip mall. I highly recommend this place. Other reviewers have said that this place is pricey. I didn’t get to see the dinner menu, but the lunch menu was quite reasonable. The decor is a bit basic, but the food is delicious.

I’ve been going to dragon best for years I used to live right up the street! I get the same order every single time no issues and I was denied my order after asking a question I have a mental disability and I struggle to communicate. I’m so disappointed the lady on the phone just didn’t care. Do better.

I tried it for the first time last week. After all of my fried rice house special was gone I immediately wanted more. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. My new spot when in the area. Next time I’m going for the cooked sushi. I have a feeling it’s going to taste amazing.
