The staff was friendly but the food just wasn’t as good as it looked. The quality of the meat was good but everything else wasn’t worth eating. We upgraded to the green chile fries and I think the oil needed to be changed. I ate like 2 of them and just stopped because it was so bad. It wasn’t worth $65 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 bottles of water.

We ate here the first time two years ago and now that we’ve found ourselves back in Albuquerque we had to stop again. If I wrote this review from our first experience it would have been 5 stars because it was THAT good. It was good this time too but they skimped us on the green chiles. Which was a bummer because that’s what made the burger outstanding to us. Next time we’re asking for extra green chiles. The photo of the burgers is from our first visit. Forgot to take food pics this go around

Words fail to describe how miserable this was, but I will try.

There is no dimension on which this object compares to an actual Coney dog. The dog itself was kind of a dried up smoked sausage, and the chili was bland in a way that should be embarrassing for New Mexico.

Nathan’s this was not. I was disappointed in the food, and angry that I wasted a meal in what is otherwise a great food town.

Very good burger but fairly pricey and a long wait. We stopped at Sawmill Market after we landed in ABQ today and had so many selections. The burger was very tasty, great bun, fresh veggies and the sauce was decent. The potatoes were deep-fried goodness and I think I will pass the next time someone offers me a Zia ginger ale – just not my thing.

I walked right up and placed my order but it took them 15+ minutes to get me the burger which seems to excessive. Considering this area is the equivalent to indoor food trucks I thought the price was a bit excessive. I’m glad I tried it.

Dr. Fields Good had a great burger with delicious Green Chile. Granted, it’s green Chile season so I’m sure you can’t go wrong anywhere you go, but the burger was juicy and delicious. But what was really exceptionally good was the roasted potatoes. Some of the best potatoes I’ve ever had! If you like fries or potatoes, you can’t go wrong here.

DFG is located in The Sawmill. Instead of getting a buzzer/pager after ordering, they text you, which is convenient.

I got a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, which comes with “house smoked local pulled pork, house made BBQ, pickles, & red onions”. The BBQ pulled pork has changed from pictures of the menu in reviews from about a year ago. It used to be described as, “fresh ground Kyzer Farm pork, mixed w/ BBQ rub, grilled w/ pickled jalapeños coleslaw”.

I ordered extra BBQ sauce on my sandwich, which the cashier confirmed, but they forgot it. I additionally paid for a side of BBQ sauce in addition to the extra I ordered on my sandwich in anticipation of them forgetting it.

In the two minutes walking from picking up our sandwich to our seat, the bottom bun became completely soggy from liquid from the meat, which pooled at the bottom of basket. It was much, much too wet for the sandwich to hold form. When I picked up the sandwich it started to fall apart, so I ate it with a fork and knife.

I very much enjoyed the sandwich once I added the extra BBQ sauce. On taste alone, I’d likely give 5/5 in ratings of pulled pork sandwiches, but DFG ignored my request for extra BBQ sauce on the sandwich, I wouldn’t have enjoyed it half as much without the extra sauce, the bun was too soaked to eat properly even with being toasted, and the meat was very wet since the meat hadn’t been drained.

Get ready to eat your sandwich with cutlery and have your condiment selections ignored. DFG might be better with customizations at other locations, but at this location they don’t seem to care.

Shredded cheese added to cheese fries was over melted, damn near burned on the fries. Couldn’t even eat it and wouldn’t dare give it to a homeless person. You can tell the cook didn’t want to make my food way he threw my food on the table for the lady to bag it. He may not have wanted to serve a black woman. Just left there a few minutes before writing this review. Wasn’t worth complaining and having it remade as I waited long enough. Writing this review will suffice for the disrespect.

Get the Blue Burger. It’s my favorite burger in Albuquerque. And their fries are amazing. They are consistent. It’s perfect every time.

The local raised beef that they use when you order a steak is so flavorful and tender salt and pepper is all they needed and the sauce was nice but not needed. Unfortunately they cut the meat for you so it doesn’t get that opportunity to rest but they can’t give you a steak knife. I like my steaks a certain way they mailed it

The customer service is top notch with the blonde lady up at the register.
The food??: Meh. I ordered their hotdog with sour kraut, purple onions, and hot mustard. Omg!!! WAAAAY TOO MUCH MUSTARD overkilled the sausage flavor, the sour kraut was so wet, it just made the bun completely mushy, and as mention in previous ratings, the onions weren’t even grilled or sauteed as mentioned in the menu. The hotdog was an absolute atrocity. It was a dry, wizard-finger of a hotdog. Horrible looking food going out as well.
