We have been customers 10-12x per year for many years at the old location and was happy to know the new location the food hasn’t changed. A different system from the old counter ordering to a sit down experience and some kinks in the menu and options listed, but the food was incredible as it always has been.
Amazing burgers and fries are S Tier.
Over the years we have had their brats, hot dogs, chicken and more and all have been great.
New locations can be challenging, but with a bar now available and a ton of outdoor seating… I really hope this all works out and people frequent Dr Dawg and their exceptional food.

Do NOT eat their burgers this was such a bad experience. Where do I start when I first walked in the place it’s like a dump trying to be a bar, but it’s not is it a restaurant or is it a bar? The waiter was not listening when taking my order or professional order the burger, fries, and a chocolate shake waited and finally got my burger but no shake they said they are making it. Why won’t they have made it while I was waiting for my burger?finally got the shake and left since I made this a to go order since the atmosphere was really crappy I didn’t notice until I left and drive home when trying the chocolate shake it tasted awful and extremely watery got home tried the burger and it was awful not only was it raw when I asked for it to be well done, but the meat tasted bad OLD bad! Oh and get this there is a piece of paper on the cheddar cheese on the burger. I grabbed my receipt to find the phone number to call them, but there’s no phone number on the receipt. I went to Google and guess what there’s no phone number on Google finally found one number called but no answer. I don’t even know if it’s the right number. I didn’t eat any of this. I did not want to drive back right now. I want my money back.

Was looking for a quick place to get something on our way to Nicolet High School. I heard their fries are amazing and they did not disappoint. We tried the Rosemary fries. Not your typical out of a bag. these are actually potatoes that were cut and then seem to be infused with rosemary. I got the meatball sub. Again not what I expected though I was pleasantly surprised. 3 or 4 big meatballs and a lot of cheese. Could have used a little more sauce but this way you can still eat it and not make a mess. maybe they give you some on the side? My wife got the chicken sandwich and said it was just okay. If I had more calories to burn I would have gotten a malt. they looked great when they were making them. Service was excellent. they helped out get a new ketchup container. Cleaned everything up right away. What like more salt with the fries. they have little salt packets. Overall great place to get in and out.

Loved the chili dog AND burger! Fries were excellent also although very different amounts with each order. I asked if they had happy hour specials. Bartender didnt know. He then said he asked the owner and all taps ( beer and their house made tap cocktails) are all $2 off. When I got home, I noticed my bill and I got charged not only full price for the cocktails, but also an extra dollar to add the mixer for the old-fashioned?! So clear specials to the customers would be wonderful and to make sure the bartenders and staff also know those same specials would be great. I will definitely be back!

Love their Italian Beef Combo sandwich! I always thought Portillo’s had the best Italian Beef Combo but Dr Dawg surpasses them by far! Absolutely love this sandwich! It’s tasty with just the right amount of spice so if your appetite is talking to you you’ve got to try Dr Dawg’s Italian Beef Combo! They are not skimpy on their meat and I love mine with the works – hot guardinier peppers, cheese, grilled onions and au jus dipped Delish!

Dr Dawg still offers some of the best hot dogs and sandwiches in the Milwaukee area. Several options for hot dogs including Chicago style, chili cheese, slaw dog and corn dogs to name a few. Great char grilled burgers are also on the menu along with hand cut fries. I do wish they would put 2 slices of cheese on a “ Double” cheeseburger though.They also have “Pups.
Little 3” varieties of their hot dogs. Prices are fair. Counter service to order then your food is brought to your table. My only gripe is I have to drive all the way to Glendale to enjoy.

Prepare yourself for a burger experience that will leave you craving more! I recently had the pleasure of savoring their amazing burger, and I can confidently say this burger is in a league of its own. 10/10 definitely coming back!

First time coming here and me and the family wasn’t a fan. We were excited by the box, only to be left with cold dogs. There was a lot of dry bread that may have been old but not sure. The chilli dog was ok but, mines that I posted was homemade and was way better sorry. The fries were so hard and tasteless but, the few that we could eat wasn’t that bad with salt and ketchup.

Probably the best service I’ve had anywhere in a very long time! The lady who help us was very kind and gave great recommendations for the menu while happily answering my dumb questions like “how thick are you fires cut?” She went and grabbed one to show me. I HIGHLY recommend the fries btw. And the Chicago dog!
