If you come through Marlin ,tx and you blink you’ll pass this place. Small but rich and flavor the brisket, the chicken the mac & cheese, scratch their sweet potato taste really good. I highly recommend you stop if you’re coming through here it’s right off the street. I mean, I love the brisket the chicken, sweet potato, and mac & cheese from scratch.

Triple meat is a banger! I will definitely need to re visit. Got the brisket, ribs , sausage link and meats were outstanding! Mac and cheese so so ( not a big mac and cheese fan) service was excellent. Atmosphere, it’s an old DQ… lots of windows

We were pulling our RV through town looking for a place to eat. We were able to park our Rv and still dine in. Fast friendly service. The food was so good. The peach cobbler phenomenal. We will be dining there again when going through town.

We were passing through this town on the way back home. Couldn’t have picked a better place. Everyone there, including the customers were so nice and personable. Great service! Food was delicious, seasoned perfectly and tender, mac n cheese was so good! We tried all the meats, brisket was my favorite but the links didn’t disappoint and a favorite. We’ll definitely come back.

My husband and I were just driving through Texas and stopped here to grab lunch and I am so glad we did! We were greeted with a warm, friendly smile from the sweet lady working the register. I wish I would have gotten her name. We ordered the brisket, ribs, baked beans, and the green beans. I have had a lot of bbq in my day and have been told by many that my bbq is the best, but this place was the best!! The ribs were fall off the bone, but I couldn’t resist to suck the bone anyway! The brisket was juicy and tender. The seasoning was perfect, the smoke was perfect, not too overpowering. Lucky me even got to meet chef and tell him how great his bbq was. I told him that the green beans were awesome and he said that he couldn’t take credit for those because that was his grandma’s recipe. I wanted to share my review and hope that anyone who is thinking about trying this place out, will definitely go!

What a great experience, we weren’t from the area just visiting and we are so glad we stopped. Upon arriving we were greeted with the most pleasant young lady who was very respectful. We ordered our food, sat down and enjoyed a conversation with one of the locals. We received our food, the chopped beef sandwich and the three meat potato both were pretty amazing, the flavor was spot on. We also ordered the peach cobbler, it was a bit loose but the flavor was amazing it wasn’t super sweet but sweet enough. The owners were welcoming and kind. Keep doing what you’re doing! I would recommend this place.

We waited in the drive thru & they were standing around doing nothing. The girl looked at us and waved then went and hid between the refrigerators. The guy cooking kept running his hands through ugh his hair kept his back to us. GROSS They refused to come to the window and take our order. We used to eat there fairly regularly. NEVER AGAIN! HORRIBLE SERVICE

I am new to the area and very pleasantly surprised by DQ’s BBQ! Not only is the food absolutely wonderful and plentiful but the staff is always so welcoming and treat you like part of the family! I always look forward to going in and enjoying some great BBQ and friendly conversation! I am very picky with food and I can honestly say I have enjoyed everything I’ve tried here. The bbq beans and Mac and Cheese are on point! The chopped brisket is my go to but the ribs are fall off the bone good and the links are good too! My family highly recommends you try it, it will not disappoint!

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing BBQ and Exceptional Service!**

I recently stopped by **DQ BBQ in Marlin, TX**, and let me tell you, this place is a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, the warm and friendly atmosphere made me feel right at home.

The BBQ is absolutely **top-notch**. The brisket was perfectly tender and smoky, with just the right amount of bark. The ribs practically fell off the bone, bursting with flavor in every bite. And the sausage? Simply delicious—a must-try for any BBQ lover!

The sides are just as amazing as the meat. The creamy mac and cheese and tangy coleslaw were the perfect complements to the BBQ. And the portion sizes? Generous enough to leave you full but still wanting more because it’s so good.

What really stood out was the **outstanding service**. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the meal. They clearly take pride in their food and their customers’ experience.

If you’re passing through Marlin or live nearby, **DQ BBQ is a must-visit**. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back again and again. Whether you’re a BBQ enthusiast or just looking for a hearty, delicious meal, this spot will exceed your expectations. I can’t wait to return!

Five stars all the way!

This place was a gem! Great food- brisket was a labor of love and so juicy and tender you could shred it with a spoon! Mac and cheese was amazing, sweet tea was SWEET! The owner works day and night smoking and grilling the meats and everyone was family. Sundays are soul food sunday with meals like oxtail, stews, greens and are sold out most times. And the true winner was the women’s bathroom- messages of love and positivity everywhere. They won me over for sure! Worth the 3 hour drive!
