First time visitor. Staff friendly but service was slow even though not crowded for lunch. Seated quickly but took too long to get my order. Good crispy fries but sandwich needed more flavor

I have always loved coming to fat boys, but I always truly enjoyed trying to taste their very big menu. Sometimes some of the food is good and sometimes it’s not. This time I got lucky and I got myself some delicious food.
Their side salad is basic but very refreshing. Cheese fries with the added green chili was a seven out of 10. I’m not a big fan on the tomatoes, but the flavor was definitely there. I truly enjoyed the friendly environment, and the bartender was exceptionally amazing. I definitely highly recommend this place to come and bring Friends. Have a good drink. Eat delicious food and enjoy a fun atmosphere.

I got the shrimp taco on the Taco Tuesday special and it was INCREDIBLE. Best Shrimp Taco I have EVER had. I don’t have enough words or stars for it!! I will absolutely be back for more food very soon!!

Tonight was my first visit. I will DEFINITELY be back. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger, Medium and was in awe when it was delivered. Fresh, hot, toasted bun, smothered with fresh fixings, cooked to perfection and sooo juicy and flavorful. Delicious! Onion Rings, cooked to perfection and served hot.
Now let’s talk about staff….wow! Made to feel so welcome and appreciated as a customer. Pablo (our waiter) took impeccable care of us. We were greeted by the GM, Wes, the manager, Alexis as well as other staff. Let’s not forget sweet Franklin who saw my messy hands and delivered wet wipes and even tore it open and help up for my messy fingers to retrieve. Absolutely a great experience. Under new ownership….give them a try, you’ll thank me!!

My family and friends and I have enjoyed Fat Boy’s for several years. The food is 95% of the time fresh and almost too hot to put in your mouth! Thursday night was a different story. We got to Fat Boy’s at 8 PM. Our food did not arrive to our table until 8:57. The side with the fireplace was closed which was a disappointment since I always find the bar area cold with all of the windows. Most folks were drinking; hardly NOONE was ordering food. We did not understand why our food was taking so long. My husband had to finally ask the server for our salads. She said “OH, I didn’t know you would want them now.” As our server, if our food was taking a while, why didn’t she ask us if we would like to have them? Our plating was different as my husband’s ribs were coated in sauce and laid on a “bed” of sweet potato waffle fries. My code was over cooked to the point that the meat was literally disintegrated. Completely not edible.
Also, the fries have been changed to those awful battered fries. Such a disappointment because I used to love FB’s fries.
Also, the food wasn’t hot at all.
They have now merged with Dozen’s and I guess they are slow walking the new menu, mode of service, etc. But this was one of the worst experiences I have had here in a long time.

I love coming here on Fridays specifically for the catfish and gumbo special. The catfish is hands down some of the best I’ve had in Colorado–crispy on the outside with a tender, flavorful inside that’s just perfect. It has that homemade taste, and you can tell it’s cooked with care. The gumbo is rich and hearty, with just the right amount of spice to complement the fish. Together, they make an unbeatable combo that I look forward to every week. Plus, they serve a nicely buttered slice of toast on the side, which may seem simple but adds a nice touch to the meal.
The service here is decent–not outstanding, but definitely not bad either. They’re quick enough, and I’ve never had any major issues, but don’t expect a five-star dining experience when it comes to service. That said, the staff are friendly enough, and they get the job done without much fuss.
As for the atmosphere, it’s your typical sports bar vibe–TVs on the walls playing the latest games, a laid-back crowd, and a casual, no-frills setting. It’s the kind of place where you can just relax, enjoy a good meal, and maybe catch a game while you’re at it. If you’re a fan of Southern-inspired food or just looking for a new spot to try, I definitely recommend stopping by on a Friday for the catfish and gumbo special.

Do not recommend, AT ALL. We sat ourselves, and it took the server a good 10-15 minutes to even come over to take our drink order. Drinks and food came out quickly which was nice, but after that we were completely ignored. The server checked on us once in the hour that we were there. If we didn’t yell for her, we would have gotten zero service. And the food was rough, to say the least. The cheese quesadilla was hard, and more tomato than cheese, the crab cake tasted like frozen mash. We ordered sparkling water with our beers, and received sprite. We will not be back.

A lovely place to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend it. It’s also a great spot to watch sporting events, and the service is excellent. Jasmine and Maria are incredibly friendly and helpful.
