Absolutely amazing from the moment we walked through the door. Seated immediately. Kelsey took our order & was very helpful when I asked about food allergies. Our food came out timely and was beautifully plated & absolutely delicious. I had the Southwest Chicken after Kelsey’s suggestion. Big portions! More than what I could finish. My husband had the Pink Lady & son had Chicken Alfredo. We all raved about it. We’re not from around here, just passing through Mississippi after a week in Orlando. Thank you for making our meal so grand!

Ok this is my first time eating at this restaurant.
When we walked in. It was really inviting. The atmosphere is really nice.
The restaurant is really clean including the restrooms.
We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door.
It was not too busy due to it being late during the week.
It took about 15 minutes to get our food.
I had the Cajun shrimp pasta. I’m going to tell you this. I am very impressed with this pasta. The flavor was absolutely delicious.
The Manager Becky came out and talked to us. She was friendly and professional.
Thanks for the great delicious food and awesome service.

We drive through this way often on our road trips so decided to get off the highway for a good lunch. Service was slow and I think it was just our waitress who seemed very young and timid.
I was really disappointed in our hamburger steak. Very bland and needed to add black pepper to enjoy it at all.
I wanted the fried shrimp but when I asked if they served gulf shrimp I was told no. Very disappointed in that decision.
While my sides, Mac and then and squash, were good, they seemed like basic items straight out of a freezer and cooked. I thought we were getting more of a mom and pop home cooked meal when we stopped by.

Let’s start with a positive, I’ve not once been there and been asked to wait to get a table. The servers and the owners are very nice nice however the food is not that great. I would love to see them try some new options and maybe upgraded options.

The Downtowner is very inviting and open. The layout is very spacious and the atmosphere is perfect for a meal.
Our waitress was awesome I wish I remembered her name.
We started with the loaded fried green tomatoes with the pimento and some sorta jam i think. They were good, I do wish the slices were a little bigger but they were good. I had spinach artichoke dip as well and my wife said it was perfect.
For the entree we had wings with boom boom sauce, parmesan garlic, and sweet Asian. First the wings were perfectly cooked and the sweet Asian was great. The parmesan garlic needed a bit more parmesan, and the boom boom i just was not a fan.
Overall we will repeat cause the burgers looked awesome.

It was Saturday, 11/8/25. We had never eaten at the Downtowner and always said we would try it. 3 of us. My daughter got the Bourbon BBQ burger with sweet potatoe fries, 4yr old got the kids chicken tenders and reg fries, I got the Mawmaws Chicken Tenders and sweet potatoe fries. Took about 30 mins for food to come. Tenders were hot but had no flavor, no seasoning added. No salt, pepper nothing so bland. Hambuger the same way tasted like the bbq sauce, no seasoning at all. The kids reg fries were warm unsalted. The sweet potatoe fries were cold, lile they had been sitting for a while, no salt. Waitress came to our table to take our order and bring the bill. Someone else brought the food. We would have complained in the restaurant but the manager was listening to another table complain when wr were ready to leave. Sorry but very disappointed

Found this great place while travelling! Burgers are off the charts! Big, juicy and flavorful without being greasy at all. Fries are crispy and the onion rings have a nice light batter and nearly melt in your mouth. Wish I could give more stars

Been several times. Food is always really good. Had the fried cheese bites, honey garlic shrimp with mashed potatoes and a side salad, and a ribeye with Mac n cheese, and sautéed zucchini and squash.

I wouldn’t know if the food was good. We waited over 20 minutes for a waitress to come get our drink order. People arrived after us and got service before us. Worst service I have ever experienced, we walked out and will likely never return.
