My buddies had always recommended this place to eat & I’m glad they did! Cool decorated place & the food is always good. Can take a long amount of time to receive your food but it is well worth it if you have the time. Takes approximately 10-20 minutes for me to get my food. Fountain drinks are good & food is hot & fresh. All sorts of different items to order on the menu. Staff are friendly & helpful. The place has been kinda dirty from time to time but maybe they were busy. Good music they play too.

Really good pizza with an amazing crust with just the right amount of crispness. I love the order by slice concept and amazed at how many choices there are. We tried red sauce and oil and garlic options and both were great. They looked so good I couldn’t help but take a bite before getting the first pic. The slices are large, pay attention to the sign showing you how just how big.

Highly recommend Downtown slice house visited for the 1st time today. Crust: flavor was great, crispness was on point!! Pizza sauce and toppings were very good, maybe just need a tad bit more sauce on the cheese pizza. Classic was perfect! Definitely will be back!! Took a little long to get our order but was worth the wait.

I will begin by saying that this place is just not good. We will NOT be coming back. There are many better options down the road.

1. We saw pizza dough sitting in the back of someones OPEN car trunk. Anyone passing by could have done tampered with it! But how would the employees know since they just left it out there in the open!

2. After ordering one large pizza and two extra slices for 81$ (ridiculous pricing, I would understand if the pizza was actually delicious to charge that but it’s not worth that price at all) we waited exactly 1 hour and 45 minutes until we even got our appetizer! The wait was INSANE.

3. Ridiculous pricing for mid food. Why is my dough warm but the chicken on top is cold? You made us wait that long and we couldn’t even get a hot pizza! We ended up taking almost the entire pizza home in a box because it just did not taste good at all.

5. 3 stars for service because the ONLY person doing all the work was the poor girl at the front counter! No one else came out to help her.

The Slice House – A Love Story (With a Side of Sass)

Let me tell you — The Slice House is pizza perfection. If loving their gooey, cheesy, crispy-edged slices is wrong, I don’t wanna be right. And their gluten-free option? It’s so good it makes you forget you ever had dietary restrictions (or dignity, when you’re licking the plate).

But here’s the twist in my rom-com with The Slice House: no veteran discount. Like, y’all… we’re out here honoring the crust, but not the people who served the country? Other local spots are handing out military discounts like parmesan packets. A little recognition wouldn’t hurt — just like pineapple on pizza (I said what I said).

Still, we’ll be back. Because no discount in the world can keep us away from that pepperoni perfection. Just consider tossing in a little extra love for the vets next time — maybe right between the mozzarella and the marinara. ❤️

First timer at Slice House. Went after enjoying live music around the corner at a different establishment.
The garlic bread was really good. Marinara sauce was nice and hot. The pizza crust is amazing. Thin and crisp. I would have enjoyed a bit more toppings, but I still enjoyed it! Nice patio area. Very friendly staff. Would definitely return.

If you’re craving a taste of authentic New York-style pizza in the heart of the Florida panhandle, look no further than this hidden gem. From the very first bite, it felt like I’d been transported back to a classic NY pizzeria—the flavors were simply unmatched, the crust just the right mix of crispy and chewy, and the toppings absolutely perfect.

The service was fantastic, with a warm and welcoming staff who clearly care about their customers. The atmosphere? A delightful mix of nostalgic charm and cozy vibes, making it the perfect spot to relax and savor a slice.

Now, I have to mention, when I approached the owner to compliment them on their outstanding pizza, their gruff demeanor caught me off guard. But hey, sometimes that “New York edge” comes with the territory, right? And honestly, the pizza is so good, I’ll gladly go back for more—grouch or not!

Highly recommended for anyone who misses that classic NY pizza experience. This place is a true treasure.

Very good thin crust pizza. Both crust and sauce were very good. Would recommend for people that love thin crust. Nice char flavor on the bottom of the crust. Very large selection of different types of pizza offered by the slice or as a whole pizza.

Harassed by the kitchen staff for not leaving a larger tip for one order of three. They were tipped fairly by the entire group.
My family are regulars at Slice House in St. Andrews. On Thursday, 2/12, we had a friend in town and we took her to the Harrison Ave location. When we walked in, the kitchen staff was playing separate music from the seating area. It was so loud and vulgar, we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. Everyone ordered separately and gave a tip. However, the kitchen staff didn’t like my son’s tip so they yelled comments through the service window about the tip amount. They did this entire time we sat there. Harassed. They burned his pizza, BLACK. The rest of the order was perfect. Clear indication of retaliation for the tip amount.

I stood there for 15 mins Thursday night along another customer for service ,Two men working there one looking like a cross between Resputia and Sylvester and another dude who looked like shaggy doo paid no attention to us. As I walked up Resputia told me to have a good night in a sarcastic voice. Learn to greet customers and if your busy that’s fine but I will NEVER waste my time In a business who neglects their customers and then talks down to them! Learn people skills!
