Me and my wife were searching for lunch and happened to stumble across this location. The person at the front was also working as the cook and was very friendly. I ordered the 8″ cheesesteak special and my wife ordered the burger special with fries and a drink. The food came out very fast and by far the best lunch we have had in a while. The bread was so fresh and lightly toasted. The sandwich had an adequate amount of meat and was filling. The fries were absolutely delicious.
We will definitely be back to try the calzone next time!

We had just come from a football game and weren’t ready to get in the car to head home. While walking to the car we passed Downtown Pizza and stopped to eat outside. Best decision ever! The pizza was so good that we ordered a second one and completely finished it. My daughter who never eats crust refused to give her crust away and finished it herself. Next time I’m in Blacksburg I’m getting more pizza!

We got hot wings from here and they were the absolute worst! One container of the wings was completely dry with not a single drip of sauce, the chicken has a terrible texture(the skin was very chewy and soft, and the meat wasn’t tender). The blue cheese tastes like mayonnaise and the bones very red. Literally THE worst wings I have ever eaten.

Even if my $4.35 slice of cheese hadn’t given me food poisoning, I still would have filed it under worst imitations of pizza ever consumed, and I’ve eaten pizza with canned tuna and creamed corn for toppings. Late night food for rich college kids with tastebuds deadened by alcoholism. Nothing more.

Food is some of the best I’ve ever had. I recommend coming here for everything but the pizza. The subs, gyros here and sides are the best I’ve ever had. I recommend the cheesesteak works and fried ravioli. Service and atmosphere is eh, but food makes up for it.
