Casual pizza place in downtown Fort Myers. Seemed like a place you find in New York. You can purchase by the slice or a whole pizza pie. Salads are premade. Desserts are delicious and ready to go. Slices are $5 and desserts are $5. Pizza pie starts around $22 and up. There’s lots of seating inside and outside in the back. Parking might be a challenge. There’s street parking or public parking garages. Not free except for the weekends and after 5pm (street). The lasagna pizza and the vegetable Stromboli we had was delicious. 30 minute wait, but it was worth it.

Best Pizza in SW Florida. As a native of SW Florida, 25 years in real estate here, I have tried many, many pizzerias. I have also traveled a lot. 42 states, 4 continents, multiple countries. So I have been lucky enough to try pizza pie all over the place. What I like is that the slices are big. Thin crust, not greasy, not dry. When you ask for extra cheese, you get double. As it should be. I really get disappointed when you pay for extra cheese at a pizzeria, and you barely notice. It should be twice as much. Good service. They have a large staff to ensure pies come out as quickly as possible. Its like a well oiled machine there. It can get very busy, so be prepared. But its good, thats why. Great location. Grab a pie, go sit behind the restaurant at Patio Deleon.
If you are from the Northeast, you will find their pizza to be what you have grown to like there. They import the same ingredients you’d find in New York City. I asked for mine to be well done. And their slices make for great leftovers. They keep well and heat up nicely.
Enjoy!

Whoever’s been making the pizza for the last month or two has definitely changed up the way the pizzas are coming out. Barely any crust on slices, last whole pie I got the dough wasn’t even cooked all the way. I work downtown so I eat here pretty frequently enough to notice the difference.

Our son ordered delivery pizza the day we arrived for our first snowbird trip. The pizza was very good. We have ordered delivery two times since – both times very good pizza. Today we decided to visit in person. I had a Philly Cheesesteak and my husband had a Chicken Philly also got a Greek Salad. The salad was fresh and delicious. We both agreed the sandwiches were awesome – best Philly I’ve ever had.
DHOP is definitely on our Favorites List!

A Local Legend Since 2005! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve been coming to dhop pizza since I was a kid back in 2005, and they still haven’t missed a beat.

The customer service here is absolutely impeccable. From the moment you walk in, the staff is incredibly friendly and inviting—it’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time.

The shop is always super clean, and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality you get. They have such a massive variety of single-slice options that I actually had to double back and grab a second slice because I couldn’t pick just one!

If you’re looking for great pizza and a welcoming environment, this is the spot. Loyal customer for 20+ years and counting

Wow!! Just wow! They’re only two places in Fort Myers that I could recommend when it comes to pizza, but this would be my top one!

If you’re on vacation/or just searching and want a great pizza spot, this would be a definite place to enjoy a slice of pizza and a cool atmosphere while enjoying downtown shops nearby.

Thank you so much to all your hard workers that stick through when the place is crazy and busy on weekends and special events. You guys are rock stars and I truly appreciate you!!! I would recommend this place to locals and visitors everywhere. Best pizza in town hands-down.

Customer service is a little bit off only because they’re busy but to be honest with you they serve fast and make it well.

Great experience, great taste, great everything lol Good God I love this place lol Enjoy!

Guard your order! Great slices, but unfortunately the guy who puts your order in the oven pays absolutely no attention to who they give the slices to when they come out of the oven. I order. I watch as the slices go into the oven. I pay. Then I find out my slices are magically gone. Then they ask if I want to wait 30 min for a new pizza to be made?!? Give me a break! …and not the first time this has happened, btw.

Great place to grab a local brew if visiting from out of town and some amazing pizza! Super affordable slices being in a touristy town! Well worth the wait! Get the mosaic grouper IPA and hop in line! Great staff and as an Army Veteran/Firefighter EMT I felt at home coming here!

I stopped by Downtown House of Pizza recently, and it completely lived up to the hype! I had a slice of their pepperoni pizza, and it was absolutely fantastic. The slice was massive, easily satisfying for a quick bite, and the quality was top-notch. The crust was perfect—crispy on the bottom with just the right amount of chewiness, and it held up well without being too heavy or too thin.

The sauce was delicious, with a rich, tangy flavor that complemented the toppings perfectly. The pepperoni was generously spread across the slice, cooked to perfection with slightly crispy edges that added an amazing texture and flavor. And of course, the cheese was gooey, melted just right, and had that perfect stretchiness you want in a great slice of pizza. Everything about it just worked—it’s clear they really know what they’re doing when it comes to crafting a great pizza.

The atmosphere at Downtown House of Pizza is equally impressive. It’s got that classic pizza joint vibe—casual, laid-back, and welcoming. Even though it was pretty busy when I stopped in, the staff was friendly and kept things moving efficiently. The energy of the place is great, with locals and visitors alike enjoying a slice and hanging out.

I also noticed their menu has a lot to offer beyond just pizza, including some incredible-looking specialties and other options I can’t wait to try. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite after a night out or looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy some great food, Downtown House of Pizza hits the mark.

If you’re in the area and love pizza, this is definitely a must-visit spot. I’ll definitely be coming back soon—next time, I might have to try a whole pie or explore more of their menu. Highly recommend!
