My friend and I were biking on the George Mickelson Trail on 10/20/25 and found this spot for lunch. GREAT service so friendly. The place is so cute like a retro dinner w I Love Lucy playing in the TV! The food was very good and gluten free options! We got baked goods to go. Highly recommend this great deli/bakery.

The lady working the front desk with the blond hair and black streaks was super rude and made it feel like it was a chore for us to be eating there. She had an attitude the entire time and was not helpful at all when we asked questions about the menu. The food itself was not bad, the tomato soup was good. However I would not come to this place as the service you have to put up with is not worth the food.

Had a wonderful breakfast here this morning. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was to die for. I had sourdough pancakes, eggs, & the bacon…..thick and candied! My wife had French toast, eggs, and the amazing bacon. We will eat here every time we come through!

We stopped in for breakfast. We sat down immediately. The menu is huge. Our food arrived quickly and it was delicious. Everyone was very friendly. The baked goods tempted me greatly, but I was too full to indulge. I’d love to try lunch the next time I’m in Hill City.

Was looking for a great, small town diner and found it here. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone. My mom had the smash burger and the rest of us had the club w/ deviled egg potato salad. Holy moly it was so good. Also tried the chili, my husband who normally doesnt eat that much polished it off. Also tried the Pecan pie and it’s one of the best I’ve had. Def stop by this place and give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

Came up here for Sturgis Bike Rally and can say this place is the FIRST place to make me and my family feel at home! Breakfast was AMAZING and the cinnamon roll is to die for! This will permanently be a place we stop every time we come up!

We stopped (off busy season) in for breakfast on our way to custer to do some hiking. We travel quite a bit and try to find the locals favorites and the non chain restaurants. We definitely found a great spot. We both walked out full and happy. We definitely would recommend and will be back!
