The chicken in the gyro was similar to chicken in a McDonald’s chicken nugget. Just mushy processed meat. No grill marks probably microwaved. Ordered a steak and cheese sub to get roast beef for a beef on weck as the steak for a steak sub. Idk if roast beef passes as steak for me. The roast beef sub was better than the gyro. Uses Costanzo rolls when they should be making a fresh roll as well. They could do better for sure.

Food definitely is overpriced for the quality, but holy cow is the customer service horrendous. Crazy how every employee seemingly hates their job, and the one lady that’s been there for years is the worst. Assuming it’s a management/ownership issue.

I live in Seneca Falls. I have eaten here many times over the past 3 years. The food has progressively gotten worse, however the service has remained the same stale, unpleasant energy as my first time there. Recommended by other locals I was excited to try and being a Rochester native and overall foodie I was not impressed. I had a turkey sandwich with dry turkey and wet bread. I decided to try again, maybe a fluke. I went again unplanned with a coworker during lunch. Macaroni salad had went bad. Tables were sticky. Overall environment was uninviting.

after 13 years of going here, the food has progressively gotten awful over the past few years to the point i no longer desire it, how you go from 5 stars to 1 star is crappy food now somehow. nothing tastes like it did when i started going there. Sauders still tastes the same after all these years…..what happened here?

Excellent deli. I was visiting for a few days and got a sandwich here every single day. The first day I placed an o line order, and they were switching Point of Sale software, and it didn’t go through. I offered to just reorder and I’d go through the company that runs the online portion, but they were really accommodating and didn’t charge me again for the same order. Their pickles are perfect, and the sandwhiches are just the right size and melody of flavor. I’ll be back when I’m up here again.

First, I order from here quite a bit. Never had a problem. Today, I ordered the lunch special- “Chicken Broccoli Alfredo”. What arrived to me was definitely not that. More like chicken and dumplings on mushy mushy noodles. It was horrible. My coworker said the same thing but was somehow able to eat hers. I called to complain and ask if we had gotten the wrong thing only to be told that no, this is correct. It has carrots and little red peppers in it. Barely any chicken and the broccoli was incredibly mushy, though not quite as bad as the noodles. The only way they would refund (or I even volunteered to get put on a list for another lunch a different day) was by sending someone out to collect it. Gross. But since I didn’t eat it, go for it. I ordered sandwiches also and didn’t ask for a refund on those so I can’t believe they thought I was lying but the fact that they’re gonna pay someone to come all the way back and collect it is weird. And super off putting. I will never order again. Now both my coworker and I are not feeling great. Don’t EVER order chicken and broccoli Alfredo. And just keep in mind the owner has crappy customer service skills if that’s how she treats people who have ordered many times before and have never received a complaint.

Not really a deli, in that you can’t buy cheese or lunch meat by themselves. However, they do make terrific subs and sandwiches. They also have what they call “Star Sandwiches”, with names like “Donna’s A-Ok”.

I love this deli. It literally screams 1950s. I got their breakfast sandwich and it blew me away. The staff are so friendly and I love the ambiance. The iced tea is great and I absolutely love their portrait of Times Square.

Delicious beef barley soup. I love that individual wine bottles are available or at this deli. I don’t usually like a mayo-based potato salad, but this is quite good. I didn’t ask if the It’s A Wonderful Life named menu items was a temporary thing or for the Festival, but it is clever.

Great service and great vibe. Sandwich really could be so much better. Make sure the pork fat is removed from the roast pork. Had a gross chunk of fat. And a good portion of my sandwich had nothing on it. Just spread it out more. It was also pretty lite on meat. I wanted to live it but it was pretty mediocre product. Love the staff and environment though.
