REBUTTAL TO MANAGER RESPONSE:
I’m responding to the despicable response from the Manager below. The difference between my review and the Manager’s response is my statement is an accurate description of my poor experience at this neighborhood store and the Manager below makes a desperate attempt at character assassination with a series of false statements and exaggerated claims that never occurred. Is it believable that after I requested to taste 4 beers that were suggested, this Manager is claiming I just wanted to try as many beers as possible from their 22 beers on tap and not buy a glass? And that I had a temper tantrum, and how do they know my age and last name? So how is this believable? Then implying I’m a regular when I’ve been there a total of three times over the past year. They have tiny tasting cups for this purpose like every other similar bar. I do frequent other similar establishments that know basic hospitality and this has NEVER been an issue. To be so petty that they need to limit to 2 tiny tastings from 22 featured beers on tap. Also interesting is there was no other customer at their bar area so Beto didn’t have the excuse that he was too busy. I WONDER WHY? What is laughable is after they defend Beto’s obnoxious behavior, their pettiness and their pitiful attempt at character assassination they “welcome me back to their bar.” REALLY? I wouldn’t go back to this place if they offered me unlimited samples of their entire beers on tap and a free mug of beer. THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS IN THE AREA THAT HAVE CLASS AND KNOW THE MEANING OF HOSPITALITY!

I’ve been visiting after gym workouts across the street on Sundays and I like the experience of trying new beer varieties that I can pick from for buying a glass and chilling. Usually the bartenders are nice about offering a positive experience when visiting but this time around I had an awful experience with a bartender named Beto. I asked about the hazy IPAs on tap and he mentioned three so I asked to sample before choosing along with the stout that his colleague recommended. Beto refuses to offer the samples first saying he’ll allow one, claiming he remembered I come to try beers and never buy. After insulting me, I mentioned he remembered in error and that I bought beers on my prior visits. Then Beto offers two samples giving me a hard time so I left in disgust without trying or buying a glass. If this is the kind of lousy rude bartenders they hire there are other similar venues with much better hospitality!

Downtown Crown Wine and Beer have terrible customer service they told my daughter she could not make a purchase and she arrived at 10:21 pm for not carrying the wine in hand to the front but she used her bag to bring it to the register. This Manager profiles people that come in just to make a purchase this isn’t the first time this has happened. The Man is very nasty to his customers and everyone should knew how discriminating and disrespectful this is.

I come to this bar irregularly for happy hours with my friends. This place has such a thoughtful setup mixed with really good customer service. Every time I go they have a wide variety of beer and wine (not just a ton of sparkling whites and IPAs). The bartenders are also quick and super friendly. One even remembered me after I had not been there for at least 2-3 months. Really positive experience.

Stumbled across this and got to enjoy some beers at the mini-bar. Casual and tasty. Large beer tap menu and a pretty decent sized wine menu selection. Would recommend going back for happy hour and taking advantage of the discounts on the meat and cheese charcuterie boards. And then grab whatever you want before you leave as it’s a normal beer and wine store.

Went on a Friday night, it was busy on the drink in side but i was able to buy a couple wine bottles. Its well organized, even tho it was busy, i was taken cared of appropriately.
They have a wide selection of wine and one thing i liked was the ratings. It was my first time seeing the wine’s rating in a beer and wine. It made my choices easier ! I am thankful

Great spot, run by people who enjoy good beer and wine! Wide selection of both beer and wine for onsite consumption and waaaaay more to take home.
I don’t know much about wine so I tend to leave that for my lady but when it comes to beer, this is my go to spot. They have 22 taps and the kegs turn over frequently. They often have local breweries and always have some of some of the heaviest hitters in the craft beer game on deck.
Recommend signing up for their points system and newsletter to get some perks and be notified when they get new cans in (usually towards the end of each week).
In addition to great selection the people/services are always top notch. All of the bartenders are amazing particularly Jenn, Tyler, Lindsay, Alexis, Griffin, Betl, and Emma.

I mean just the best selection of craft beers around! Triple crossing, Other Half, Burley Oak to name a few. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Beers are on point. Check their website for draft beers that are available to go too! I drive 40 minutes to go here!
