Owned by a wonderful woman who knows how to cook. The cafe seems simple but the brownies are home made and to die for. Love the burgers as well. Plates are large and the food is cheap. Locals love it. Everyone comes in for breakfast and the awesome daily lunch specials.

Rolling down the highway and googled breakfast in Vernon. I’m glad I did. Big piece of ham, perfect over medium eggs, crispy hash browns like I requested, and biscuits and gravy. The waitress and cook were really nice.

I have eaten lunch here several times and I finally was in Vernon early enough to catch breakfast. I really appreciate the relaxed atmosphere Family Style seating and the simple good food I really enjoyed the bacon that got with my breakfast, it’s very hard to beat thick cut bacon cooked to Perfection on a griddle:-)

Very dirty. The staff isn’t clean at all I was there an hour and not one person washed their hands. The rag used to clean the tables was used on multiple tables and never rinsed off. I ordered the fried baloney and got and end piece of baloney so my sandwich just fell apart. My child’s chicken strips were swimming in oil no attempt to drain at all. The waitress basically forgot about us in a very tiny building so I’m sitting there staring at her for my bill. I’ve been doing a lot of traveling in Vernon and plan to be coming through more often, I will not be eating here. Honestly Yuck!

I know the owners try, but it’s literally cafeteria/hospital food. Cooked in microwaves and the corn is from a can and you could taste the metal. The staff is amazing and sweet.
