I got a half sized Mediterranean bowl, I should’ve taken a picture of the side of the bowl because it had DEPTH they stuffed this bowl anddd the food was so good and had so much flavor. I got chicken, lettuce, a falafel, feta cheese, and spicy mayo sauce. Workers were sweet and the atmosphere was nice.

This is a great locally owned spot for amazing food at great prices. The gyro is only $5! The portion size was great, they did not skip on the gyro meat. The quesadilla is only $7 and was loaded with delicious marinated chicken. We did not get the bowls but several other customers did and they looked huge. The staff is super friendly. Definitely give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

I don’t know what happened today. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Lynchburg. I was very disappointed. The Schwarma gyro meat was chopped into small bits of greasy mush. I was excited to eat my lunch from one of my favorite places. I will be throwing this away. Not asking for a refund just please don’t do that.

I swear on my life this is one of the best food spots in forest va, anyone passing through I cannot stress to you enough how much you need to try this. The food is so flavorful and crafted (yes, crafted because it’s an art) to perfection. Samir is one of the sweetest people ever and remembers me and my friends orders only after us coming 2-3 times. The food was amazing! Honestly I went because of the honest replies from the owner and the fact that they stood up for themself and it was well worth it. The place is clean and the food was flavorful. They are very generous with their hummus portions and their pita chips were perfect, soft in the middle but crunchy on the outside. Definitely recommend to go!

We had an AMAZING lunch at the restaurant. It was our second time and the food quality is GREAT. Today we tried the lunch Gyro Combo and the Habibi Fries. For the Gyro I chose Shawarma as my protein…totally delicious! Make sure you try it. The Cajun fries and their shata sauce had some kick. The Habibi fries were yummy and have Shawarma, tomatoes, dill pickles, pickled onions, feta and Kalamata olives topped with Habibi sauce. Staff is kind and greets you with a smile. They have lunch and dinner portions available. Stop in and enjoy.

DT Cairo is uniquely different than any other restaurant we’ve been in Lynchburg. It’s Egyptian and so so delicious. The portions are generous and the food is fresh and always delicious. It’s a casual atmosphere and the staff are attentive. We love this place and it never disappoints.
