Wow! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a Friday night dinner at the quaint Downtown Bistro & Grill, Burlington. Excellent, very personable service and fantastic food. I started with a Caesar Salad that was huge and garlickly delicious. My wife had baked brie which was also tasty. She also enjoyed her Beef Tenderloin but the show stopper was my main. A phenomenal, unctuous and exceptionally tender beer braised beef short rib with mashed and seasonal vegetables. Fantastic!!! Highly recommended!!!

My husband and I were celebrating 10 years of marriage. We were welcomed with smiles and seated on the patio, it was SO nice. The white summer sangria was the perfect drink for the hot evening and the food was to die for!

We were in the area and found this cozy restaurant. Food was great, service was fast. The place is perfect for a causal fine dining where you don’t need to spend $$$ for an entree but with fine dining setting. We will come back in the future.

The tastiest place in Burlington. My wife and I took our baby girl in a stroller on the patio and had a fantastic time. We both had the pork schnitzel dinner last year and came back to Burlington specifically for it again. Large portions with an absolutely outstanding mushroom sauce on there. It is one of the best schnitzel dinners in the GTA.
The lady serving us was very warm, inviting and professional. We had great service and we’re well taken care of.
Do not miss out on trying this menu. The Creme brulee and cake desserts were the perfect finish.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was charming, being set in a cozy house-turned-restaurant. The service was impeccable, with our server being exceptionally friendly and offering excellent recommendations. As for the food, it was heavenly. Our favorites included the Pecan Crusted Chicken, Pork Tenderloin Schnitzel, Short Ribs, and Jambalaya. Dining with friends made the experience even more enjoyable. The only suggestion for improvement would be the restroom entrance, which is currently hidden behind a curtain. Perhaps a sliding rustic door or a similar upgrade would enhance the entrance ambiance.

Just had dinner at the Downtown Bistro in Burlington, what a great little restaurant, it is a gem. The hostess is so charming and professional. The food was absolutely excellent and serve in timely manner. I will recommend this restaurant without any reservations whatsoever.

Had dinner here Oct2025. Apps beet n goat cheese salad and white wine mussells shared. Seafood pasta and another pasta variation on carbonara along with beef short ribs. All dishes were amazing and we shared the starters. Quiet place so if you are looking for STK like environment this is not the place. I would highly recommend if you want an intimate evening with good food.

Our first time here was great. A very cozy little restaurant with only a few tables. Was told everything is fresh and is made from scratch. I definitely believe this.
We had the French Onion Soup and Ceasar salad as apps. Both very flavorful and delicious. Would recommend both of these apps.
The entree are the pecan crusted chicken and Salmon that are in the pics. I loved the cream sauce with the chicken. Salmon was good, but wouldn’t get it again. Overall Great little place to go with excellent quality food!
