This is a really neat place to hang out and have a delicious drink.
The green chili burger was really good, as were the chicken bites. Do you see how many come in an order? So many! And they are so good!
There was live music on the other side of the establishment that was loud, but not unbearable.
We had a great time and would come back whenever visiting again.

Downshift absolutely nailed it. Great vibe, amazing live music, and the kind of place you walk into planning to stay for one drink… and somehow stay for three. The food was excellent, the beer selection was solid, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a place with great music, great food, and great beer all in one spot, Downshift delivers every time. Highly recommend.

We came to this restaurant twice on our trip through New Mexico. The first time we came was on a Thursday and service was fast and food was tasty. Smoked wings were great- no dipping sauce needed! Also nice they offer cocktails as that gives them more service since seems people are drifting away from beer lately. Second night was extremely busy and service was not good. Problem is lack of people knowing how to make cocktails and just overwhelmed with amount of people I am sure (right before Octoberfest). Would still recommend for people coming through area – food was great!

Great place to eat while visiting Ruidoso, New Mexico for Christmas Eve! The pizza was delicious, the wings were crispy and full of flavor, and it was a huge plus that the place is dog-friendly and live music. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back!

I’ve never been to a brewery that had such amazing food since Breckenridge brewery and this place really exceeded my expectations. The beer was flavorful and I enjoyed sipping on the flight but what really blew me away was their meatball sub. Everything was made fresh and the homemade meatballs with the fresh bread really enhanced the flavor. Their wings were top noch as well along with their artichoke dip. I didn’t get a chance to try their pizza but judging from the amount of satisfied customers eating the pizza I can surmise that it is delicious.

Went to celebrate family birthdays! We had a wonderful time! The food was amazing we tried the smash burger, sweet potato fries with cheese and green chili, squeaky cheese, and Mediterranean pizza.
The staff was kind and helpful. Loved the decor!

Pizza was really good. We had the supreme pizza and everything was perfect thin crust the chiles were really spicy but good. Drinks were excellent. My wife had a watermelon margarita and she loved it. I had an old fashioned snd that was great. The beer was great too very cold so it was enjoyable.
