We had a party of about 20 people and our waitress was very good. She was very busy with us and did an excellent job. The cooks did get a few items out late, but everything was pretty good. The prices are also decent. We dined here 11/11/25.

We went to a birthday party here in the covered outdoor area. It was perfect large enough for probably 100 people or more. The food was good typical American fare Pasta Ham chicken tenders and fries and salad and Polish Galumpkis (Stuffed Cabbage) Appetizers were pepperoni rolls anyway we had a great time relaxing at Downeys House. I’ll be honest we just stumbled across this place by mistake during our us trip. But gosh was this place amazing. The staff were extremely nice the food was beyond spectacular. There’s a reason why this place has a thousand plus reviews and it’s highly rated. Literally one of the best spots to visit and we will be going out of our way to come back here if we go back down south again. They even got a cigarette vending machine inside which is super cool. Not something you see often and they’re hard to come by. And the food was amazing I mean hands down the best and the portion sizes are huge! Literally the Philly cheese steak sandwich I ordered took me two days to eat! Now that’s a true American restaurant!

I used to come here from time to time after work but haven’t been here in a few years. They only improved.
I wouldn’t consider it a dive but it is a fanatic local bar for the area. Huge menu with a massive bar. When weather permits they have an amazing outside area.

We’ve been here now a handful of times. Ever since we discovered it about 4 months ago or so. They are conveniently located down the road from my go to nail salon and Bruster’s. It’s a small family owned business and the food is exceptional.
We love ordering their chicken or steak quesadilla for an appetizer; we prefer the steak more. Unfortunately, I did not capture a photo of the quesadilla before we devoured it lol. Our favorite entree and the main purpose for choosing to dine with them is their pizza rolls. The garlic ranch has become our obsession and we always order extra! The cocktails are okay, but the food is amazing.

I saw someone else’s order of pepperoni rolls sitting on their table as we were seated. I couldn’t resist to order them. They were very good. I ordered the steak sub and fries. Fries were really good. The steak was excellent. Great meat to bread ratio and the bread was good. Definitely be back.

Absolutely great, casual, unpretentious place! Awesome food- got the pepperoni rolls which were so good we got an order to go!! They have Diet Coke and the waitress was super quick to refill which I always appreciate! Also got the fire in the hole chicken sandwich which was really good and the best kind of fries!! The ranch is homemade too and delish! Friendly & quick service overall, 100% would come back

We have lived here now for about 6 years and just discovered this restaurant. How lucky were we? We could never decide where to go to eat once in a while when we want to dine out. My daughter took us here, and we were all blown away.
From the moment we entered, we were greeted and taken to our table. The server appeared immediately to take our drink order and appetizer. We got the chicken quesadilla. It was tasty and had a perfect crunch on the outside.
The server was very attentive and took our main dish order. We had questions about the menu, and she clarified them all.
We got the pepperoni pizza roll, chicken, bacon ranch roll, and a Swiss burger (I asked for teriyaki sauce), and the server asked if I wanted pineapple on it.
Wait time for our meal was minimal. The server refilled our drinks without us asking.
All amazing taste and flavors.
Highly recommend this restaurant. We know for sure that we will be returning here.

Visited on a busy Friday night, traveling through area. Local sports bar feel, but food was great. As other reviewers have recommended, the pepperoni rolls are delicious. The fish fry was good. Service was excellent. A great locally owned restaurant.
