Came here to enjoy our last weekend of the year with my cousin. I’m not a regular but always liked it here when I came down since 2008. At this particular night we got some a boot each and enjoyed it. We decided to stay for another instead of bar hopping we also requested songs on the jukebox to enjoy our drinks with. We had our drinks and the songs never came on it was 1am by now and we requested by 12:15am. We got more beer in hopes for our request to come up and they did but by the time they did they unplugged the jukebox around 1:15. I had just returned from the restroom and my cousin told me his song came on but they cut off the jukebox. Also last call was at 1am. I politely asked for a refund. Seems like the person in charge owner/manager didn’t seem to care. They just said come back tomorrow when it opens and they turn the jukebox on again. Wow. It’s only 5 dollars I gave more tips in that and got a few drinks. Sad what money can do to a person’s characteristics. Unless they weren’t raised in the best standards. I’m not saying I was but I definitely know right from wrong, good or bad… Being polite goes a long way…

Very casual spot. It’s not too far from a few other bars in DT downey, but definitely a different more laid back vibe. Service is great and their fries are amazing. Sports lll playing often, they have karaoke sometimes. Good parking.

Very laid-back brewery in a converted garage. I got a pale ale that tasted of grapefruit and pine. They host trivia nights—great crowd vibe. Outdoor picnic tables and friendly dogs. Appreciated the zero‑waste initiative

Sergio was great with accommodating our roller derby group. It was our first watch party, and we were able to watch the No Borders Roller Derby Tournament. Mary (I how I spelled it right) was very nice and attentive. The food was good. My friend and I shared the Downey Brewing Sampler. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, and it wasn’t too busy. Thank you to everyone there. We had a great time.

Saw this place yesterday as I was driving by so I decided to go that night. My wife and I are beer connoisseurs so we were excited. Walking in we loved the atmosphere and all the tvs. Menu looked good for a bar and the das boots as my wife said looked so cute so we both ordered one. We both ordered the house blondes and they were very good. So overall a great experience… but the only thing was the plastic boot. It kinda had a sharp edge at the top and really didn’t keep the beer cold. A frosted glass would of been awesome. I understand people might try and steal them so it’s a good decision I guess. Just a suggestion, maybe offer a glass one for sale that you can take home and bring in to fill up. Or have a beer club that you get charged for glass and will always have a frosty one waiting for you. Thanks for a great time

I’ve been sitting here for over 45 minutes. The waitress with the Cry Baby jacket gave me a food menu and ignored me the entire time because her girlfriends came in and they started chit chatting. The place isn’t even 1/4 full. Terrible service, don’t come here.
