It’s a college bar, and it’s cash only! Minimal cell signal being downstairs. There were many TVs, video games, several pool tables, and a DJ with a dance floor in the back area. The music was thunderous, as expected. We came in pretty late, and when we weren’t carded on the way in, I knew we were much older than anyone else at the sports bar. We only came to drink, listen to music, and dance, so I don’t know their food, even if they had food there. Again, it is what you expect of a college bar. I noticed my shoes sticking to the floor, which wasn’t abnormal for a scene much earlier in my life! Bathrooms were, well, much to be desired.

This bar hasn’t been updated in years and it shows. Pool tables r disgusting, arcade games r antiques, & the general cleanliness is concerning. The bartenders seemed decent and the bouncers did their jobs, but I wouldn’t waste my hard earned $ here very often. No tabs started, they’re Cash Only. A huge interior overhaul might make the prices worth it, other than that, it’s a local watering hole (in the wall).

A little context we came in with a party of 8 we were then sat at a 6 person table and squished in together. The first thing out of the managers mouth to us was that we had 15 minutes to order and she was not nice about it keep in mind we aren’t from around here and have never been here before so we didn’t know. She could have been more professional. Our food left much to be desired considering how much it cost us. Ontop of that they charged us a fee for being a “big party ” but yet they didn’t even have the curtesy to pull two tables together.

Rude bouncers stealing your ID’s while you’re ordering at the bar because you being 26 and looking young isn’t allowed.
EXPENSIVE outdated moldy pool tables for $2.00 a game. Really?
Sticky floors that haven’t been washed since Westminster was established
$5.00 12oz Miller Lites. Are you serious? You’re better off partying in a Sheetz parking lot with $2 tallboys.

I enjoy this place early. It has a “cheers” type atmosphere, where the bartenders really do remember your name, drink and story. Overall, it is a basement bar, not at all fancy, the menu is very limited and after 9 it gets rather lively with the college crowd. There I dancing and everyone has a great time. For me and my group, it is a nice place to have ice cold beer with friends and family after work or a long week. The staff is top shelf, the regular “early crowd” are all like family (yet extremely diverse). If you stop in before 9 to have a beer and relax, you will become a part of the family! After 9 I leave because I am old, but it is generally packed so they must be doing something right

Don’t go to down under. Last night a guy had rocked my bestfriend. The bartenders didn’t do anything neither did the bouncers. The guy walked of Scott free while my buddy is fighting for his life in shock trauma right now. The bouncers tried to fight me instead of diffusing the situation. We are trying to find the guy who is responsible. Please if you were at down under New Year’s Eve am around 1:30-2:00 am and seen it as well as know the dude please follow up with us or contact Carroll county police. Thank you. Please help us find the guy so my buddy gets justice.

Bartender was good, but that’s the only positive I’ve got. Pool tables are in very very sad shape, lighting for tables is horrible. At 125 a game, highest I’ve seen, reinvest in your bar. Abd my shoes stuck to the floor with every step.

I’m giving them a one star based off of there Drinks mythology knowledge. Maybe it was just the the bartender I had but I ordered a “trash can” and he only put triple sec, Peach snaps and red bull that drink I try to say something but he just wasn’t listening to. It wasn’t the 1st time, I have order other drinks and it seems like they don’t know how to make any mix drinks correctly.

My friends and I had a great time, it was kind of hard to get drinks though, and they don’t have Patron. But the music was good and the people were nice so I would go back.
