A charming small cafe with delicious food. On Sunday morning at 9:30, there were plenty of tables. Service was attentive and fast.
We shared/split the Chipotle Benedict special which was awesome. They have homemade hot sauce – also awesome. Everything was en point.
My husband had the Down to Earth medley raw vegetable juice – a beautiful purple drink made with beets, apple, carrot and ginger.
Highly recommend this little gem.

For a small cafe, they have an extensive menu. They serve breakfast and lunch and weekends are particularly busy. Between the three of us we had the avocado Benedict and omelettes. All good

Great little food spot with many vegetarian/vegan options and a wonderful variety of specials that change regularly. This has become one of our favorite breakfast spots over the past few years.

Based on nothing more than the general appearance of this storefront breakfast Cafe, I was expecting the food to just be just solid. Man was I wrong! My breakfast burrito was absolutely awesome. I exchanged he chicken for bacon on the California chicken breakfast burrito and it totally hit the spot. My wife got an omlett and really enjoyed hers as well. The service was ok, as was the atmosphere. I’m definitely coming back for the food though.

Tiny little spot, but they made a really good breakfast. And they are so nice and attentive. Their service was honestly top notch. Their lattes were very good. We’re not big breakfast eaters, so the portions were almost too much. I couldn’t finish mine. It was tasty though.

We’re regulars at Down to Earth, we usually go for brunch once a week. It’s almost always a weekday around 1pm and we’ve had no issues with service or food quality. If you visit on the weekend it’s like anywhere else, gets very busy so you’ll wait longer. Yesterday we ordered two items from the specials board; the Huevos Rangeros and Yuppie Skillet – both delicious!

At first glance, the food seemed well packaged but it was disassembled when I opened the box. The eggs Benedict were pretty good. The hollandaise sauce was a little runny and a little bland but the dish altogether wasn’t bad. The potatoes…were potatoes. They were cooked well and seasoned; my personal preference is a little crispier and saltier. The French toast was interesting. It had strawberry cream cheese in the middle, but because it was so thin the texture was a little off for me. The syrup flavor was nice and light but very runny. It was a solid meal overall and it’s always nice when I don’t have to cook.

Thought I’d stop in at a near by local breakfast place in the village.. Usually go to “Fat City”, But Decided to check out, “Down to Earth”.
Fresh local pastries are displayed. With a middle eastern feel….. Clean yet small.. Friendly Service.. Prices are reasonable. They offer Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free produce. As well as Organic.
Started my meal with a very large memosas. That I must say was made very well . Then there was the delicious “Down to earth French Toast”, from their “Sweet Eats”. Section of the menu. There presentation of the food is not only beautiful it’s yummy. Everything was on point…I’ll be back
