If you want to eat in a dirty hot restaurant with subpar food and be served by a less than friendly server this is your spot! Upon entering the restaurant we immediately realized they had fans sitting all throughout the place on the floor. With it being hot outside it still felt cooler than we came from outside. After being seated a few and ordering drinks we realized the fans were actually scattered throughout the restaurant due to what seemed like a lack of function air conditioning. After ordering our food we realized in an area near the bar they had bug spray sitting with drink supplies and an ice scoop on the counter. Also realized the ketchup bottle at our table had ketchup all over it and gnats constantly landing on it. When our food arrived I asked the server for a different bottle of ketchup, she said nothing but took the dirty bottle and slammed the bottle from another table down on our table and walked away. The food was subpar at best. The fries had a weird taste to them. The cheese sauce on the horseshoe was cold. They advertise $2 off on tenderloins for Thursday however the menu states $13 and we were charged $12. They brought a paper order pad page as the receipt showing no individual prices just a cash and credit total. Once we gave a credit card to pay the server brought us a receipt from the point of sale machine with prices of items and a separate one to sign. This left me wondering if they don’t enter sales into the point of sale machine until you give a card to manipulate prices or perhaps they don’t enter cash purchases to avoid taxes? The atmosphere was bright like sitting in a cafeteria. It’s also worth mentioning that the publicly available food inspection records show they have a history of cleanliness issues and unsafe food handling issues.

This was our first time. Staff was super friendly. We got the blooming onion as the appetizer and it was burnt in some places and not fully cooked in others. The sauce they serve with them was good but didn’t eat but a few bites because the burnt taste took over, my curly fries were good but my husband had the home cooked and they tasted undercooked, we both had bacon jam burgers and they were SUPER good. I was disappointed because I guess I wanted it to be “better” but hey, may have been an off night and we will try again sometime.

This was our first dining experience here. We honestly have never heard of this business. So, looking up restaurants in Quincy, this popped up. Ok why not. Something different for us. ‍♀️
Upon entering we were greeted right away and sat at a table. Very nice.

The menu has such a great selection to choose from. We went with Loaded Potato Skins as an appetizer. Those were very delicious. Then we decided that the tenderloin pizza sounded really interesting. We ordered that as a share plate. It was about the size of a personal pizza, we felt it was alittle dry, and either needed more sauce or cheese. My husband ordered a 3 patty smash burger with mac n cheese and fries. He loved the fact that you can build your own stack, as in how many patties you want. I ordered the BLT with a side of broccoli. I just love broccoli no matter how it is cooked, the sandwich on the other hand was a bit sad. It was basically a bacon on bacon sandwich, 1 slice of tomato that had the whole thick core in it. Lettuce, well….. I had to open it up to take the core out of the tomato anyway, and I finally found the very thin piece of lettuce that didnt even cover 1/2 of the toast. The wheatberry toast was very dry, even with the mayo on it. After deconstructing the BLT, I just put the bacon in my broccoli. Our plates were presented very well.

There were several tables filled during the time we visited, around 2pm. Lots of room and a great selection of beers and mixed drinks. Salad bar had several items for a salad of course, meatballs and two kinds of soups. It would of been nice to have those labeled. Clean everything, including the restrooms. Well stocked. Service time lasted about 45 min.

Our service from our waitress was exceptional. So friendly, drinks never went dry. Great recommendations on food and drinks. They have everything on the menu that was printed. Not out of anything, so that is always a plus with restaurants.

Thanks for the good dining experience. 🙂

Rude new waitress refused to give me a drink carrier. 2 large sodas and 9 styrofoam containers. Only gave 5 stars because everyone else is nice here. She was very rude about it
and I don’t imagine she will be employed long there

Went for the breakfast buffet. The french toast/pancakes with the apples were delicious! The sausage looked hand made and were a little bland. Could definitely use some work on perfecting that recipe. Might try again in the future

Update 6/25
Updating to note change of location. They are now wheelchair accessible.

Original review:
Really good food. Tenderloins are our favorite, and love the hand-cut fries. Nice dessert variety, too. Nice breakfast buffet on the weekends.

Not wheelchair accessible. There is a flight of stairs inside the entrance, handrails on both sides.

Ordered from here, paid for extra sides, got none of them. Burger had none of the garnish. Half of wife’s meal was missing. Go to call and basically re-order just got get a continuous busy line. Of course, if I served what was served to me this evening I probably wouldn’t want to answer the phone either. Won’t be ordering from this joke again.

This was our first visit to Quincy. We had been at a nearby park and this establishment came up as a nearby lunch option. I’m so happy we gave it a try!

Pub is much bigger than expected. Once inside, you go downstairs, which was also a surprise, BUT we loved it!

The bartender/server was super sweet, attentive and helpful. She recommended I get the pina colada sauce with my coconut shrimp, and yum!
Our food was delicious!

There wasn’t much of a wait, but it was later afternoon (after lunch rush).

We will definitely visit this place again, especially to order a few drinks at the bar area. We loved the vibe & the food. If in the area, give this place a go! Recommended.

The restaurant has a mom and pop feel to it. The staff are amazing and kind. I ordered the tenderloins, they are amazing. So Happy Quincy finally has a place that makes giant homemade ones. Will be back soon to try some of their other food.

I ordered the taco nachos, the chips were overcooked. I also ordered the Philly slider, the bread was too hard to eat, lack of meat. Price? $14 for slider ( 1 ) lots of fries. Total price. $28 and changs. One word ” Horrible! “. This explains why nobody was there.
