Davies Bar and Grill is a very friendly clean place. The food is delicious with nice portion sizes. While you wait you can play pool or watch TV and drink liquor or soda… Just remember 21 and over only they do check ID’S.

Call first. They close when they want to. There’s a great place up the road from here that has a bar and food food that closes at 9. If you want a late night at Dovie’s you had better get there by 9:30

My boyfriend and I drove half an hour to this bar from Alva, just to get something that wasn’t the usual 5 restaurants. The lady immediately turned us away because our ID’s were vertical, even though we are both 21 and the ID’s had not expired yet. I understand businesses have the right to do that, but there were only 5 other people in there so it’s not like they were busy. The lady didn’t even let us get a word in because of the ID’s. Kind of ridiculous that I have to go give the government money, even with a valid ID, just to get served at this place. I was very bummed to have to drive another 30 minutes home, still hungry because nothing else was open. :’(
