We went to Dovetail for my birthday, and it was everything I was told it was. The food was excellent, and the servers were perfect. The manager came over to express his birthday wishes, and I felt like that was just great attention to detail that makes this place outstanding. I really enjoyed it.

Food was amazing as always. Kevin was great and accommodated me with a private room on short notice so that I could do a presentation. Staff was very good at reading room before telling us about specials, asking about refills on drinks, and taking orders. Will be doing my dinner presentations here from here on out.

Visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday. The food was okay but to be perfectly honest, I thought the menu was a little limited however, I was well aware of that prior to arriving. I’m sure they have their reasons for such a limited menu but I would have liked more choices. The smoked pork belly bites were very good & my wife enjoyed her flank steak but I thought the portion was extremely small for the $26 price tag. My $24 hamburger was juicy & tasted alright. I don’t recall tasting any pickles couldn’t tell if it actually had house sauce on it. I did taste the bacon jam on the burger. In hindsight, I should have omitted those so called special ingredients & opted for the good ol’ lettuce, tomato, & onions but overall, the food was okay.

The food was very good and the ingredients used are fresh. I ordered the pompano fish special of the day and it was very tasty. It could have been accompanied by an option of one of the sides, especially for the cost. I also had the lime dessert, which was very good, but the crust/bottom was a bit hard.

Today was my first time at Dovetail. The food was fantastic! Our server, Ms. Alex, was attentive and knowledgeable. 10/10. And the young lady who brought out our food, Natalie, did a fantastic job. She knew everything there was to know about our cheese plate, including specific types of cheese and where all of the cheese and toppings were from. Knowing that our food was grown and produced here in the Southeast made me feel great! Dovetail is a perfect place to go on a date. Expect to leave with a full tummy and a pleased palette!
