Gave 2 stars only only because of friendly stuff and nice interior. Food was awful: onion French soup had just a name of it… asked for well done steak – received unsalted rare piece of some meat.

REALLY wanted to give Dovers a better rating, but after 2 days of eating here, I simply cannot.
Service is slow, had to ask waiter for refills and for opportunity to order 2 days in a row, and items I order never arrived.
Waiters didn’t smile or make eye contact and seemed upset we were there.
Some good wait staff training and this place could be a great spot!

Mediocrity has become the norm at some establishments, this one included. Is it too much to ask to have a friendly greeting, check on your customer after their food arrives to see if all is good, and make a positive comment of some sort before they leave on their way? I asked for bacon on my breakfast sandwich and didn’t get it. No one checked on me. Walked past the host stand when leaving and two employees chatting said nothing to me. Service is more than just showing up!

The wait staff was very friendly and efficient. The food was surprisingly high quality and very flavorful. The pricing was reasonable given the quality. I would highly recommend it as the finest on-site hotel restaurant I have ever eaten at, and a hallmark example of a wonderful dining experience that many hotels lack.

Their veggie burger is SO good (I found it very strange that they asked me what temp i wanted it cooked…sooo…i just said well done – it turned out great). Their fries are REALLY good and overall, i highly recommend dining there! I ordered my food to go, but the service was great.

Amazing service. Ordered to go, seeing as I was saying at the hotel next door not the Omni. They were reasonably priced for the amount of food and the quality. You get what you pay for for sure. Amazing people.

Dallas is “iced in” currently so we walked over to restaurant inside the Renaissance Hotel last night. We were grateful that they were open during the ice storm and the restaurant was packed. Service was a bit slow understandably, but the food was actually good and the staff seemed to be enjoying the challenge of the situation and were smiling while interacting with guests. We ordered the herb half chicken, the fried chicken sandwich, and the beef sliders. All three entrees were good and we would order them again. We had the pecan pie and ice cream for dessert and would not recommend it. Overall, great experience and we will walk back over there today to dine again.

Food and drinks are good, but it really is amazing how bad the service is. Two nights in a row, one bartender and one person serving the rest of the Resturant. Probably 30 people at the bar, and 30 seated. Vaibhav Sharma, who looks like the manager just walks around aimlessly, getting in the way of his already extremely understaffed staff, also noticed him complaining to his staff for being too slow while he just slows them down more. Not necessarily the servers fault, they are pretty slow but also very overwhelmed. Amount of lost revenue from this place is crazy because they just can’t get drinks or food out. Get more staff and this place would be great, right now it kind of sucks.

Dover’s was a reasonably priced good dinner. I didn’t feel like going out and fighting Dallas heat and traffic so I went down to Dover’s. The menu has a nice variety. I chose Thai wings for an appetizer and a steak salad for my meal. The wings were tasty. There were 8 along with carrots and celery. The steak salad was also very good. The steak was cooked medium and the lettuce was very fresh. I might be back tomorrow.
