Really great place! Small shop, with a wide selection. As someone with a dairy allergy it is really amazing to see dole whip being offered and them mixing it into other menu items they offer. I’ve seen many other places just offer it straight and do nothing with it. The staff working were also very helpful. I explained my dairy allergy and they were more than happy to help.

Great ice cream options. Staff was friendly. I had to wait about 10 minutes to order on a hot June Friday evening. This place is very popular. I got the large cookie dough Tornado. It had a crazy amount of cookie dough pieces. Very good! Prices are going up. I included a photo of the menu from June 2024.

Hot chicken sandwich is amazing and it’s a hefty portion. The small banana split was delicious. I recommend both. I live an hour away and stop at Softies whenever I am in town!

I got the tornado called hot fudge brownie. It was good. Their tornadoes are like blizzards from DQ.
They accept cash and some cards. I personally thought the service is good.
They close in September. Be sure to try this place out before they close for the winter!

I was nieve to think that all places of business treat everyone the same. My first visit to Dovers softees was awesome! Young people at the counter contributed to my mission to visit again, plus my softee was excellent. I drove from Canton just to patřronize Dovers Softee, and the servers today were horrible. First off, the older clerk had an attitude when I asked simple question about flavors, she put me off on second clerk. Who insisted I go wait in .the car while my foods prepared.my passenger wanted water, when I went back to winsow she didn’t give me a chance to ask…she told me to move out of the way.. there are other customers besides me. I am 60ish grown woman and didn’t appreciate the put off, my order was wrong, but when I called it in they went back n forth on why it was my fault for not asking for reciept I love these Softies? But I won’t return..I’ll save on gas, extreme prices, and a bad customer service

Dover Softies brings all the Nostalgia. We stopped by for a quick treat as this quaint space came highly recommended by locals. It’s more than just ice cream! There is community love here, and it shows! Fresh and delicious food and delectable sweet treats. We definitely left satisfied!

Cant even drink the milkshake way to thick. You used to have the best milkshakes. I ordered a large peanut butter and it taste like a vanilla shake. Very disappointed

Had the foot long coney and fries. The sauce could use a little more flavor but was still good. Great friendly service. I’ve had ice cream in the past and it was excellent. Great prices on the food. Will definitely be back
