Great little store. The corner store meets small town grocery. The employees are always super busy preparing people’s orders and doing prep work, but are always happy to serve customers at the register. If you’ve ever eaten there or even cashed out with your groceries, please show your gratitude to the hard-working people on shift and leave a tip in the a little clear disposable plastic cup on the counter.

Giving douins a 5 star because the woman at the register was nice! The coffee selection is great ! Smelled heavenly when we were there as the kitchen was baking something chocolatey!
We sat outside on the cute little picnic tables in perfect sunlight!
I will say owner should do something about the drama of next door two boys pulled up in a blue pickup truck , armed and was threatening the guy that lived at the house . Wasn’t expecting that kind of show for breakfast, eek.

Don’t sleep on this place. Great food!! We enjoyed the sausage and egg breakfast pizza and some home fries – both were delicious!

I will start by saying, I grew up in New Sharon, on a dairy farm. I’m almost 45 yrs. old. My husband and I have stopped here for the last year to grab breakfast, on our way to work. We spend between $35-$45 every morning. I would get a milk every morning, weather it be chocolate or white. 9 times out of 10, Oakhurst. That is who our family sold to. If you get the milk within two days of their delivery, it was ok. If the date read out a good 10 days, it would probably be ok. Sometimes they have milk in the cooler and sometimes (4 days), “the cooler boys” haven’t been in to stock it. Long story short, their coolers are not anywhere near the temperature that milk is supposed to be at so I’ve gotten more spoiled milk than not. Their food on the shelves are outdated. You can look for yourself. I buy the Hostess because I know that they actually switch out their products. I got food poisoning from hotdogs one time, from here. There is a quarter inch of dust on the candy bars by the door. The attitude you get in the morning, if you ask a question is very unprofessional and rude. Don’t tell me that “It’s Oakhurst”. It 100% isn’t. It’s your coolers! I’ve never had an issue anywhere else.

They have the best BROWNIE WHOOPEES, EVER!!!! It is a drive for us to go there, but so worth the drive if you like whoopee pies. We will be going there again so we can take some home to our families.

Staff are disrespectful, slander peoples name, unprofessional, and discriminatory. used to go in all the time, not likely will ever go back. Saying I am banned from store when I have done nothing to get banned from store as i am nice and courteous ever time I go in.

Only thing I ate that day was their SEC on a biscuit. That was at 8:45 by 12:30 I started to feel off. By 1:30 I was vomiting on the side of the road only the egg. Having to stop no less than 7 times on my way home at various bathrooms. Out of work for two days due to food poisoning. Unfortunately this place was My go to for quite a while for breakfast but I can’t chance loosing that much time.

I only bought a soda, but this place is adorable and so very Maine. I’ll stop by more and encourage others to do so, too, so we can keep this gem. ❤️
