It’s been a minute since we’ve been back to Doug’s Diner. The food and service is second to none. Our server Abraham was on point as well as my Waffle Breakfast and the Biscuit breakfast my wife had. We’re very satisfied with our orders and will be back there soon. A 5 experience!

Doug’s Diner in Windsor is proof that breakfast should be taken seriously. The omelet came stacked with bacon and ham like it had something to prove, and the side of green chile? That’s not a side—that’s a lifestyle. It’s the kind of green chile you think about before you go and miss when it’s gone. If comfort food had a sense of humor, it’d be served here. ️

This is the second time I went to this place and it did not disappoint! While simple in design their service and food are 20/10! Tiffany was our server and was super nice and recommended an amazing cinnamon roll! And while the hillbilly plate was amazing, I’m definitely going to get th Rancher again next time!

We found Doug’s today for breakfast and have fallen in love. This is our new place for sure.
The place was very clean, the staff was amazing, and the food was great with every bite. We had great conversation with the staff as we sat at the bar to eat.
My omelette, hash browns, and biscuits were cooked to perfection. My wife had the jalapeño cheddar biscuits with their raspberry jelly. Both homemade.
And the cinnamon roll…

just went to this location ordered steak and eggs. I ordered the steak medium rare came out well done. I asked to have it redone, took 15min and took to long. told the wait staff to bring me the check.
She was not happy on not taking the steak, to long of a wait time from order. slow staff, steak way over cooked. the staffer need to learn better customer service. First time in location, not again

Best biscuit Ive had in long time. Almost forgot my omelette. It was three eggs, cheese, thick bacon, diced ham. With hearty hash browns well done as i asked. Best breakfast place ive found in Windsor, CO. Will definitely be back. Loved the ladies room decor also. Very open and friendly restaurant. Good prices for good portions.

Great 1st experience, 2 people. Frontier Burger was great!
2nd was today, 4 people. Ordered a side salad before the meal. Tables are small, lunch rush, longer wait times, cook times, I understand. Plus eating it before the meal means I get to eat a hot meal. Salad came out couple minutes before the meal. Just slightly irritating. Waitress said, “We are at the mercy of the kitchen with getting salads out before meals.” “Not your fault.” I replied back. She was awesome. The Legend Burger was great. Got the fries “messy” with their green chile. Taste great! The Legend has green chile and I was expecting some green chile like the fries, it looked like they were sliced, not the “messy” green chile. I don’t like eating my burger with a bun. So the chile messy would have been a great option. Wasn’t taking my chances with the kitchen wait times and having green chile and a cold burger. Everything was good shape and clean. Everyone was polite. Iced tea was good. All our drinks were good. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Will return.
Restroom was clean. Kid mentioned it too.
Plenty of parking. Fit a large SUV and was able to open the doors enough to get in and out.
1x visit I had an equipment trailer with me and there was a spot I used.

Just a heads up, they’re training new cooks and feel that waiting over 50 minutes for a to go order is acceptable. Great food as always but the service is going downhill quick. Give it a couple weeks before going here again.
