Friendly waitstaff, convenient location and a large menu with full bar make it clear why Doug’s is a popular spot in Loveland. Food was good with large portions. Only negative of our visit was a slow kitchen. Seemed to take a long time to get food to tables.

We got some breakfast since we were early for our DMV appointment. I was surprised by the food. We had sandwiches and they were better than expected. The dough melt was juicy and the bread was soft. Overall good experience.

Large portions, small flavor.
Nothing stood out as a home run. All of the portions were large or on the giant size, but little to no seasoning or spices. My breakfast burrito was bland and wouldn’t have been worth eating without the green chili it came with. The cinnamon roll was huge, but all you could taste was frosting and very airy bread.
Servers were friendly and welcoming, but we were left waiting multiple times.
I can’t recommend Doug’s diner.

The best part about this restaurant is the outdoor patio. In the center of an apartment building, spacious and beautiful. We had lots of room, it was quiet and dog friendly. The food was very good and the staff was extremely friendly. We will be coming back.

WOW! Talk about a hidden treasure. This diner is a great place to find either a light breakfast or bring your appetite for rib-sticking goodness! My long time friend took me there before a round of golf and recommended the Ranchers plate while he had the Huevos Socorro. My meal had it all, hash browns, eggs, sausage gravy and a home made biscuit that looked like it came from Texas (where everything is bigger). The biscuit had a strawberry rhubarb jam that was to die for. Needless to say I tried to eat it all, but came up short. Patricia was a great server who offered to box up the leftovers, but I had to get to the course…

The food was amazing! The best sandwiches I have ever had and the most interesting and tasty burgers as well. Our server Abel was amazing and very polite. If you want an all around amazing experience I would definitely recommend this place.

I really like what they did with the space! The service was fantastic, the waiter was super friendly and helpful. The food was really good and the prices were quite fair. I had the Sharon omelet, and it was delicious and came with 2 sides, I chose hash browns and a griddle biscuit. The biscuit is huge and comes with homemade jam. The hash browns were really nice, too. I’m glad this place is so close to home. We will definitely be back.
