First time here. All in all… not bad. A little on the pricey end. 2 piece catfish with 2 sides, hushpuppies and cornbread are $14.50 + $2 for fountain drink. Smaller pieces of catfish that were good but almost over-cooked. Mayo-based slaw is good (a small portion) and white beans were tasty. Vinegar-based slaw is available for those wanting to go in that direction. Tarter sauce was flavored nicely and possibly home-made. Would likely go back for another try given an opportunity. Place is inside a Shell gas station and you’d be surprised to see it if you walk in not knowing what was inside. Went at 1PM on a Friday and we got the last table available for dine-in. Parking was OK, though the lot was full. It is certainly worth a try if looking for country comfort food in the area.

I always try to come here on Monday because they have frog legs. Cost more but worth it. Menu slightly changes daily but fried chicken, baby back ribs and brisket are normal entrees. Meat and 2 around $10. They serve a lot of food per serving.

You’re probably thinking to yourself, it’s a gas station, how good can it be? I’m here to tell ya it’s great! Any time I go past, I make an excuse to stop in and grab some grub. From ribs to wings to balonga sandwiches, this place has it going on. Prices are reasonable as well.
