The food was excellent and the service was great! Amelia Cumberland’s (the chef) cooking has always been great especially the sweet treats. I got the slaw dog with baked beans. The dog was cooked to perfection with just enough slaw to no make the bread soggy. The beans come either warm or cold which complements the slaw well. I would definitely recommend this place!

Good food and super nice staff. Small menu but the sub and pizza were good. Decent bottle selection. Hole in the wall atmosphere but you feel at home. Can sit outside if the weather is decent.

Very disappointed and ended up leaving after an appetizer and a few drinks.
Waitress only came and checked on us 2 times. Took our order and then when she brought food. We had to flag her down for the bill. She was more worried about the folks on the patio than anyone else.
Will not be back.

Wife had a pizza and I had a buffalo chicken sub. The misses liked her pizza and the sub was good. A little small for my liking but the taste was good. They have a great bourbon selection and live bands occasionally.

Great hometown treasure you need to experience! Good people in a good location. The owners are nearly always there making you feel welcome like part of the family. Good food, good drinks, and good people… what’s not to love?!

I want to love and support this place; it’s local for us. But we arrived at 5pm and the one server for both bar and food/tables told us there was only one pizza dough left for the entire night. After at least four visits to our table, she got drink orders and placed the pizza order. It was taco Tuesday and supposed to be a margarita special. No margs, and then she told us those were the tiny pre/prepared bottles anyway. The one type of beer we got was frozen— even after replacing it 3x all were frozen. The menu was outdated— the server told us many items not available and several items they did have were not listed. We came for tacos and all six of us ordered them. They were exactly what you can fix at home — and ground beef was the only meat option, no chicken no pork no shredded or strips of beef— hard shells from grocery store, ground beef, lettuce, sour cream and salsa. Not bad but they could’ve been from my kitchen or Taco Bell— not even what we expected from taco Tuesday ads and promos even if this is more of a bar/dive pub.
Back in April 2020 we ordered the delivery they begged people to use to help keep them open during shutdown. We ordered the fish and chips advertised heavily as the Friday night Lenten special and a veg pizza. The fish was from a brand like Gortons— yucky mushy breading and a tiny amount of formed/pressed minced fish inside. The fries were crinkle cut from a frozen bag. Honestly it was terrible, we threw it away— and with it our money. The pizza was undercooked and just not good.
Im so sorry to report these experiences but it’s the truth. We want to love and support local independent places but I doubt we will try this place again. We wish them all the best and hope they have steady followers to keep it going for the owners’ sakes; no one wants a place to fail.
The daily promos and ads on Facebook just do not match any level of quality expected, and we are not expecting four star stuff — just good real cooking and decent service.

People are friendly, lots of locals and bikers. Keep the drinks simple. (I ordered a Vodka Tonic & they had no tonic water.) There’s a smoking patio out back.
