Came here for a quick breakfast. It’s like any typical donut shop you order at the counter then there’s a small seating area off to the side. This seems like a family business as there was kids behind the counter and helping wait tables. They had good customer service and were helpful getting missing items like straws, sugar, etc.

We ordered glaze donuts and maple bars as well as a ham omelette and a breakfast sandwich with bacon and sausage. Food was good, cooked to order, donuts were okay nothing fancy.

The donuts look very tasty, unfortunately they do not live up to the visual allure. They are not fluffy and light, but rather a bit crumbly (I am referring to the dough donuts not the cake donuts). The icy was not smooth. Instead just a hint of sugar crystals. The worst part was the hint of lardy coating that was left in the mouth after eating one.

The shop was clean. And the service was very friendly. They had regular customers in the shop which shows they have appreciative customers.
This was my first time and I will go back in the spring to see if I just caught them on a bad day. It can happen even to the best of places. I will update this post after my next visit.

Heartland Women’s Veterans American Legion 1107 here on 22nd of every month. We are there to educate and to bring awareness to “22 A Day”. Which is about the heartbreaking statistic that 18-22 veterans take their own lives every single day.
The owner Michelle graciously opened her doors and heart to us. Doughboys has a deep history of local veterans on her walls and shares the history of the restaurant with patrons.
They also are aware of the laws concerning Service Dogs and even have a sign in their door.

I was referred by friends and it was worth it. The selection was wonderful. Long John’s, apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, cake donuts, etc. I got my donuts and wound up ordering breakfast. A bacon, egg, and cheese on wheat toast, potatoes, coffee and biscuits & gravy. Highly recommended!!

I got there later in the morning, so the pickens were a bit on the slim side, but what was there was deliciousness. A family-owned and operated establishment, mom and her curteous youngsters dilligenty took my order. They fill and ice the long johns to order, that’s a nice touch. Their doughuts are superb. I got 2 creme filled long johns, a couple of bags of glazed holes, and a cinamon roll for my son and a cherry turnover for me, along with a chocolate milk and a coffee for me. Everyrhibg tasted great. Along with doughnuts, there’s a full breakfast menu, and plenty if seating. I’ll deginitely need to come earlier to experience their full offerbings. That said, I found my new favorite local doughnut place!

Been coming here for years – aways been good. I only have two complaints. The cinnamon rolls have become just rolls!
They are just under cooked dough, and
You can’t taste or see any cinnamon.
The last.owners fried their cinnamon rolls (not mushy dough) and we’re loaded with cinnamon. Also long johns used to have ample frosting – now just a glaze that you can see through with little flavor..

Cinnamon roll is big. Like really big, huge. Was a bit doughy in the middle, but I like that. The family is friendly and has their young children working with them. Very family oriented. The breakfast burrito – I was told it was meat, cheese and eggs only, but had onions and peppers in it. Overall a good experience and it was cheap breakfast.
