I ordered the Caesar salad and birria tacos for pickup. When I got home, I noticed the birria consomé was only half full. This didn’t bother me because I don’t need much, but at other places they usually only leave about a quarter inch of room so that it doesn’t overflow. Moving along, the online menu states the salad comes with a “creamy Caesar dressing,” but after opening the salad, I found it came with a vinaigrette-style Caesar dressing instead of the creamy dressing advertised.
I chose to order from here instead of my usual spot specifically because I expected a creamy dressing. Although the chicken was nicely seasoned & cooked, the quality didn’t match the price of a $20 salad. I’ve enjoyed the food here in the past, but this visit was a clear miss. It seems as though they may be cutting corners at the moment. I don’t plan to order these items again if I return.

I had the pleasure of visiting Humble x Doughboy Johnny’s in Roselle for a comedy show open mic. There is outdoor seating, and plenty of parking. I absolutely loved the service there! I ordered wings and fries with rosemary and garlic. The food was delicious! The server was very attentive to my table. I had a great time. The atmosphere inside is very cozy with ample seating. It definitely fills up fast! There is an area with board games and a bar section to place orders there as well. There is art everywhere and I absolutely love it! Great vibes! There is a section for a DJ so it’s a perfect place to have a party! Overall I had a great time! I will definitely visit again!

Very lively establishment! The staff was incredibly patient with our special needs adult. The food was piping hot and delicious. The music playlist was 10/10, very modern. I would recommend the cheeseburger sliders, burria tacos, Dominican chimi and alcoholic beverages for sure. We will definitely be back soon!

Found them on yelp while visiting family in NJ and looking for some good local Pizza. The vibe, atmosphere and decor is very cool. 90’s Hip Hop music on shuffle and cool art pieces to match. Pizza was good – prepared in a brick oven. The burgers that sounded good on paper left a bit to be desired. Suggest to stick with the pizza. Overall a solid 4

The food was beyond amazing. We had the pizza empanadas, my friend got the Dominican Chimi flat bread and I got the Hot Honey Hawaiian. Everything was amazing. And our waiter, Alexandra, was the best part. Will definitely come back!

Doughboy Johnny’s is a great place to visit if you’re looking for good food and a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere. The food was very good, the music was on point, and the overall vibe was welcoming and fun.
I visited on a Friday night during their Salsa and Bachata event, and it really made the experience stand out. DJ Vibewithceejay did an excellent job keeping the energy up and the dance floor moving. It felt like the perfect spot to unwind, dance, and enjoy a great night out.
Definitely a place I would recommend and visit again.

This place has its own unique vibe and style. The music, food and drinks all goes very well together. I highly recommend going if you’re within 30 minutes of this place for lunch, brunch or dinner. And bring the entire family, kid’s included.
