Had a delicious and relaxed lunch at the Dough Run. We loved the coffee, scones and tuna sandwiches. Beautiful interior and very friendly staff. Keep it up!

Limited breakfast menu. More of a takeout cafe.

We had two breakfast sandwiches. My biscuit was very strongly flavored of thyme and crumbed as I ate. My husband’s English muffin was quite small.

Lastly we got a Cinnamon bun to go which looks great. However it was $12 which is absurd.

I have to say that I was skeptical about eating at Dough Run and I wasn’t even sure the owner would reopen. The food is supposed to be better for you than most coffee houses, and sometimes, that equates to no flavor. I have been eating healthier for several years now so I have definitely had good and bad at various eating establishments. I am pleasantly surprised with the flavor of everything I’ve tried so far! I’ve been back several times now. I have to say, I love the scones (so much fruit!), bread, muffins, etc. The egg sandwich on a biscuit was amazing! Coffee and tea are both great. It’s really nice to have a new “go to” place in the Hereford area. Keep it up guys! My healthier body appreciates it and so do my taste buds! Can’t wait to try my next new treat!!!

A friend and I met here for coffee this morning. It was both of our first time visiting, and we were more than pleasantly surprised by how wonderful everything was. She is a vegan, and I have several dietary restrictions that were easily met by the café. The coffee was delicious, as was the lemon lavender bar. I am so happy that they have finally reopened, and that I was FINALLY able to stop in.

I like the turkey sandwich and their coffee is very good. Friendly atmosphere is a plus. I’m a repeat customer of course. My husband likes their muffins.

First visit under new ownership was somewhat disappointing, so we gave it another go on a recent weekend. Scones were soggy and likely undercooked. The baker’s explanation that they were not undercooked—that the oil from the fruit and chocolate made them appear that way—did not resonate with the baker in our group who makes scones. Regardless of the cause, the batter was wet, and thus they should not have been served. The muffins they gave us were soggy as well, though not inedible. We appreciated the baker’s explanation, though with one exception, counter staff was indifferent.

Came here this morning on my way to work. Cute place. People were nice. The blueberry lemon muffin was good, but the açaí bowl was probably the worst I’ve ever had. It was frozen (including the fruit). These bowls should be fresh, especially for the price. I understand prepping base and keeping it cold, but they shouldn’t be frozen, especially the fruit. It took me 25 min to get to work from there and it was still a crystallized block when I got to the office. I ended up throwing it out. Considering I paid nearly $18 for a bowl and muffin, I was disappointed. Portions are small as well in comparison to other places I’ve been to.

Great shop with freshly baked muffins, cookies and bread. They have loose beans and teas as well. Great place, love the vinal records that are always playing.

Today was my first visit and I loved everything about it! Customers were chill and happy to be there, staff was welcoming & helpful, and the coffee & açaí bowl were delicious! This is a great local place to visit for a grab & go treat, to sit with your laptop & snack, or to grab a gift!

I emailed Dough Run on Tuesday, asking if I could order a German chocolate cake, for 10-12 people, to pick up Friday. The owner responded very quickly, and confirmed my order (nice to be able to order via email through the link on their website!). We agreed on a pick up time of after 12:00 noon on Friday. I arrived shortly after noon, and the cake was ready. The owner presented the cake for my visual inspection, and it looked amazing! Three chocolate layers with the German chocolate frosting between each layer and nicely coated on the top of the cake, but no frosting down the sides, which I found interesting. I discovered later that the sides did not need to be frosted as the cake was very moist and delicious, and the amount of rich, decadent frosting between the layers/top of the cake was MORE than enough (frosting down the side would likely make the cake too rich and sugary, if that’s possible!) and it was enjoyed by EVERYONE! I would HIGHLY recommend ordering your next cake from this lovely, small, family owned and operated local bakery.
