Nice little pizza shop that could be great.
The first thing I noticed is that the restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Tables were all wiped down and glass was spotless.
The menu was a little difficult to navigate as there was no way to determine how many people each size pizza would feed and the staff was not interested in helping to make any ordering decisions. They were friendly enough, just not very engaged.
They offer a daily lunch special of one slice for $6 which is actually a good deal as the slice is very large. On a short lunch break, it would be nice to have lunch options such as a slice and a soda for $8 or two slices .
I noticed a couple in the restaurant who split a salad and a small pizza and it seemed to be a good amount for a lite lunch.
My slice (the daily special) was a reheated slice of Peperoni with all the other topping added before going back into the oven. The re-heating of slices is very common in pizza restaurants and the quality of the slice was still great this way. The dough was crispy, chewy, and flavorful. The problem I had was that the extra toppings were just piled high on top and falling off. It was fine, just a little strange.
I think with a little more focus by the employees and the addition of a clear lunch menu, this place could be be a great place to stop for a quick lunch. It seems that ordering a full pizza is the way to go and that those who know the menu better seem to find what they are looking for.
I’ll certainly give it another try when I have time to wait for a full pie.

Ordered pizza here and the chicken fingers. The pizza was not good and very disappointing. It didn’t even have a layer of cheese on it. The sauce layer was so thin, it didn’t even cover the crust where there was no cheese. It was burnt. So dry it was difficult to eat. I couldn’t finish it. I will not go here again.
I am gluten sensitive and the chicken fingers upset my stomach for a couple days, despite being marked GF. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs gluten free food, despite it appearing like options are available.

The inside is nice, but we loved the patio seating since it was pretty cold inside. The staff made our experience amazing with how welcoming they were. The gluten free cheese bread and gluten free Sicilian pizza were delicious. Both are very crispy with the perfect amount of fluffiness inside. The peanut butter brownie was the icing on top for me loving this restaurant. I highly recommend coming here if you are gluten free, but you must be open to trying a non traditional type of pizza since the texture of the Sicilian and gf cheese bread is different. We will definitely be back for more!

I stopped eating the “chemical franchise pizza” and found Dough Counter as an option. My kids LOVE IT! My daughter is HOOKED on the garlic bread bites !!! Its delicious fresh and made to order. The customer service is AMAZING! The guys at the counter are friendly and handsome ! Clean inviting atmosphere. I plan on having a Dine-in date with my kids soon. They also have a covered patio option for when the weather permits. Love Love LOVE Dough Counter!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

If you’re gluten free this place is awesome! I haven’t had mozzarella sticks in years, let alone a deep dish style pizza. The tenders and fries also are GF automatically and way cheaper than I would expect. Coming back for sure!

Excellent pizza at a retro “order at the counter and take a number” kinda place. Cashier was helpful with recommendations and plenty of seating to enjoy your food.

Ordered their Sunday specialty, loaded potato, and got one slice. Absolutely delicious! They said they had to make a new pizza, and I only spent about 10 mins waiting to my slice.

I have ordered a large takeout NY pizza with pepperoni and black olives every Saturday or Sunday night for a long time. The service is outstanding; as managed by Skye, the place runs smoothly, efficiently and like clockwork. I have NEVER had a bad pizza or one not as I ordered. The workers are friendly, the service is fast and I appreciate that they recognize me as a loyal customer. I highly recommend the pizza and the service, and I think Skye is doing a great job, above and beyond great!

The hype around this place is no lie, it’s amazing!

The Sicilian pies are not to be missed: the crusts were perfectly crispy and thick without being too doughy and heavy. We ordered both a pepperoni Sicilian and a plain one. They were both excellent. The simple artistry of the flower of ricotta atop each pepperoni slice and drizzled with hot honey is genius. The savory and sweet, crunchy and chewy (but not *too* chewy)… Inexplicable ‍

The staff were nice and the delivery of pies to our tables was prompt. The place was clean and had a great retro vibe to it.

Don’t hesitate to head over to the Dough Counter and order a Sicilian pie!

I rarely dish out (no pun intended) 5s but this place is legit. I’m from NY NJ and trust me, it’s one of my top 3-4 pizza spots in Denver now. Top 25 restaurants in 5280 magazine this year so had to try it and yes, it is.

PS The Sicilian is more like a Detroit pie but the regular NY pizza passes the flop test with a nice crust. Delicious sauce and ingredients like real deal Italian crumbled sausage.
