Easily BEST PIZZA in central IA, not kidding. Living in Chicago it’s hard to order pizza when we travel… but we’ve finally found one we will order everytime we are back in DSM. Great job Dough Co. Pizza, delicious.

Dough Co in Ankeny has accomplished something our family has not otherwise managed: unanimous agreement.
Parents, kids, grandparents—everybody loves Dough Co. This is no small thing. We are not a family that agrees easily.
The margherita pizza may be my personal all-time favorite on the menu. It’s the kind of pizza that reminds you why some things don’t need improving. They also deserve credit for having solid vegan options, which means no one gets left in the crust.
Consistently one of our family favorites. Consensus reached. Motion carries.

Went in at 115 for lunch, completely dead, I was only one there. Service was ok kinda, ordered 2 slice which they had to make( when I see they sell slices they should be ready too finish off in over and eat). After 15 minutes waitress comes over and ask if I had time to wait because they( forgot) my slices where in over and over cooked them. I said ok, average person on lunch would have been screwed. They finally came out after 30 minutes from walking in the door, she puts them down in front of me and says she canceled my cc transaction which I thanked her for, she then turns and walks away without offering me a fork, after a few minutes of not seeing anyone I went by pop machine and found some cheap plastic silverware, had too use fork and knife to cut it cause fork was so flimsy, attitude was pretty much crap by then. Pizza was ok, crust very good but topping where all piled at top. Way too many big slices of tomato on the Margareta for my liking and the slice I got with chicken on it was the most flavorless chicken I’ve had. Ive heard they have way better sandwiches so I may try that when in area again. Hopefully it was just the person at the time making the pizza cause the crust was valid and could be a very good pizza.

Don’t waste your time. Plenty of other pizza shops in the area willing to put forth the effort. We’ve tried 3 times and each pizza has been worse than the one before. Expect very under done wet stringy dough and zero seasoning. Slop.

Dough Co is a great place to grab thin crust pizza. The single slices are huge so would be a great option for lunch or for kids! Everyone I’ve gone during the week it hasn’t been too crowded but parking in front can get busy with other businesses around. There is also a lot in back or you can park farther down and walk along the other shops. If you are catering they have jumbo pizzas that are perfect for big groups or a game day!

My mom and I were stopping in for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. Both of us grabbed a lunch special, the portions are really big, definitely going to have some leftover. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants some good local pizza in des monies

*sigh* I’m not going to give up on you, Dough Co, even though I got a hair in my pizza and asked for extra sauce and got basically no sauce. One positive is the pizza was seasoned a bit more than the first time. SEASON YOUR PIZZA (including the sauce), leave out th hair, and cook the crust.

We ordered a GF/DF pizza, a regular sausage and a salad. Pick up scheduled at 5:15. It was all coming out of the oven and being boxed up at 5:15. And the food was amazing!!!! The cauliflower crust was so good! Highly recommend!!!

Thought I’d try the Ankeny location to preorder pizzas for my son’s birthday party. Big mistake. Just like the Drake location, there is no follow through. I was assured on Thursday that my order would be ready Saturday morning at 11. Arrived at 11 and was told they had no orders. Do not trust this place.
