Before I start I wanted to acknowledge that I have eaten from here many time in the past. I Ordered a Large Pepperoni Pizza over the phone today around 5pm and it was disappointing to say the least. Cold maybe even potentially an old pizza from earlier in the day, reheated and served as if it were fresh. Regardless was not happy with what I got and Im not sure this is a place worth coming back to or to recommend, without a guarantee on the freshness of the pizza I or whoever buys.

Small hole in the wall with a great shrimp pizza! Omg…..just do it.
Not fancy by any stretch but the owners are sweet and friendly.
Pizza is smartly priced and definitely a good deal.

It is with a heavy heart that I had to delete my previous four star rating and lower Douggy Fresh Pizza’s rating to a two. Originally I compared their pizza to the other offerings around them, and said: “Good ingredients, decent crust, the right amount of cheese, and enough sauce that you *don’t* have to order extra sauce just to avoid getting basically cheese bread unlike the Little Caesars across the street.”
Except now that is no longer the case. Now, if you don’t order extra sauce, their pizzas are even DRIER than this specific Little Caesars (didn’t know it was possible while still technically applying sauce) and they are now charging you TWO MORE DOLLARS FOR “EXTRA SAUCE”, just to get the same amount of sauce they were using on their pizzas NORMALLY this time last year. Which, I should note, it doesn’t cost two dollars for extra sauce at the previously mentioned competition.
When you lower your quality to the same as your competition and then CHARGE PEOPLE TO GET BACK TO YOUR QUALITY WHEN THE COMPETITION DOESN’T? That’s not a good business model.

I ordered three pizzas while on my route to pick up my kids. 15 minutes later I arrived to my order shockingly ready to go. I was very impressed with the efficiency and the quality of the pizza was great. The crust wasn’t too dense and the sauce is great. There was enough cheese on the pizza and the prices was very reasonable. Definitely a great first time experience and will continue to go there!!!

My youngest and his Fresno High friends have been eating here and today my son asked me to get some pizza from here. It did not disappoint! And the service was great! Ordered a side of garlic bread and the person helping us took it from another order to help us out and not keep us waiting. Felt sad that their glass door appears to have been smashed. We will be returning.
