Douce was surprisingly pretty good. I didn’t come for the atmosphere, nor did I care. But the FOOD, the food was DELICIOUS . I had the goat with the plantain, mirade and I’m already planning on returning over the weekend. The service wasn’t quite Del Frisco’s but when the young realized I was a tourist she showed us the Welcome to Hollywood, Florida love and recommend some great drinks. I would highly recommend Douce Restaurant.

I’m tired of taking up for them. 20 servers, 5 customers and you’ll still have to wait. Because the girls wanna sit down they wanna be off their feet, get an office job. Food is hit or miss. I came because my son said he wanted a pasta I asked “you sure from them?”

I wanted to share my disappointment following my recent visit. Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The mac and cheese resembled lasagna due to the tomato sauce, which was unexpected and unappealing. The rice was overly greasy, and overall, nothing on my plate was satisfying or enjoyable—except for the fried turkey, which was the only highlight.
As this was my first visit, I had high hopes, but I left feeling very dissatisfied. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

Here for the weekend and wanted some good Hatian food and this place was recommended. I must say, best decision ever. For appetizers, we had Accra and Conch Fritters. And for Entrees we had the Brendan’s Snapper, Blackened Salmon andTaso Goat-fried. The food was delicious . Seasoned and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was great, very clean and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. If you are ever in the area, definitely drop in and support.

On 10/30/25 We, (me and my fiancée ) whom I love very much had high hopes for this place called “ Dulcè”, and the food was actually quite good. However, our experience was ruined because the restaurant allowed several patrons to smoke hookah right in the middle of the dining area while others were eating. The strong smell and the amount of smoke made it difficult to enjoy our meal and was a major health concern. We are non-smokers and were not expecting this in a dining establishment. When my fiancée got home, she got really sick. We mentioned our discomfort to the manager, but were told that this is their policy. Unfortunately, due to the heavy indoor smoking, we will not be returning. Dulcè establishment should not ignored the health concern of others. I highly recommend that the place create a special corner for the non smoker.

The use to be good but they fell off bad ! I paid for rice and never got it was told it will be sent when I order again I CALLED before ordering to make sure I get my rice and well what do you no no rice again! Very watery sauce pwa no OXTAIL inside of the oxtail pasta I don’t even know what kind of meat this is ! My Mac and cheese was burned so better ! Paid almost 60$ for disappointment! Oh and the people are rude !

If you want to enjoy great beats while you eat, come to Doucè. I might not always write a review, but I’ve been to Doucè plenty of times for the past two years. Great atmosphere, and the food is awesome You could dine in or take out, but I suggest you dine in and enjoy the music while you eat Great place for a date or girls’ night out. I’m not sure what time they’re open, but I know they close late Oh! Did I tell you I love this place They play all types of music, so you’ll definitely hear your favorite songs.

I ordered the chicken pasta and specifically requested it to be non-spicy, but it came extremely spicy and overly oily. The dish was disappointing, and the overall experience did not meet my expectations. Additionally, the staff was unprofessional, which made the visit even more unpleasant. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

I waited 45 min close to 1hr outside waiting patiently for my food after I placed the order over the phone. I mean all i order was something that would have been prepared cooked already. No frying, no baking, nothing like that. Then after 30 min the cashier finally said something. She asked me what I order I told her, she said with a polite voice is coming usually it take about 15 min, but I’ve been waiting for that long and more. Man I was so disappointed I mean I love that spot. The food is good. I couldn’t believe i waiting that long. I should have left but I wanted to test to see how long after my 37 min would I get my food. Oh yeah by the way when they checked in the bag, they realized my food was there in the back of them all the while. Looked at me smiled and I don’t think I heard I’m sorry, or here a free drink. Nothing…. jezzz thank!!
