Had an awesome time at Double’s Beachside! The food was exactly what you want when you’re beachside — fresh, flavorful, and gone way too fast because I couldn’t stop eating it. The vibe was relaxed but still lively, like the kind of place where you say “we’ll just grab a quick bite” and somehow end up staying way longer than planned.
Huge shoutout to Travel, our server — absolute legend. Attentive without hovering, quick with refills, and somehow always appeared right when we were debating whether to order one more thing (the answer was yes). If customer service were an Olympic sport, Travel would at least medal.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service. 10/10 would let Travel convince me to order dessert again

My new favorite American comfort food establishment, I had a Hoagie with 4 different meats with provolone cheese. The bread was soft, and the meat was satisfying. Cheese fries were great, and the sweet tea was great. The shrimp were probably the best I’ve had in Florida. Waitress was very friendly and did not have to ask for anything.

Came here with my family and it was the four of us and the bill ended up being less than $40 bucks. The outside patio area is really nice and maintained as well as the dining which is still not opened and the restrooms. Ordered chicken tenders onion rings and a bacon cheeseburger the food was so good and well portioned for what it is that you pay. Service was awesome and they were great with my little one too this place is well worth the visit will definitely be back again.

Stopped in after driving by for two years. We were not disappointed. The staff was welcoming and the service was great! I had a meatball sub and it was excellent. Highly recommend.

Thought I’d stop and grab a quick bite at the updated beloved doubles beachside. I was shocked to see it was almost totally empty inside on a Saturday afternoon. My shock turns to realization when my partner and I receive our food. Our waitress was very kind, welcoming, and attentive. We had ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and a buffalo chicken wrap with a side of fries. My girlfriend’s sandwich was very soggy at the bottom and lacked flavor in the meat. My buffalo chicken wrap was lack luster as well and carries a very strong vinegar taste that over powered everything else inside the wrap. The fries themselves weren’t the worst I’ve had but they were overly crispy to the point where the potato inside is almost nonexistent. Needless to say I was disappointed in the food and it appears they don’t live up to the reputation they once carried at their old location.

Very nice outdoor seating area with a splash area for the kids. The atmosphere is well maintained but a little confusing. The restrooms have confusing names on the doors. We walked down to what looked like a window for ordering. Apparently it wasn’t and the trainer working with a new hire ignored us. There did not seem to be enough servers at 12:00 Wednesday afternoon. When our server arrived, he was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Wednesday special Cheesesteak sandwich and a Power Serve salad. Everything tasted good. I’m so glad they still have racket fries. I guess it’s fitting, but this is the last place in Brevard to get them. The salad had plenty of good greens and quinoa, brussel sprouts and hummus. We’ll be back.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. When they first opened back in 1983, Doubles subs were the rage of Mel-Hi. These days, you would be considered a gudgeon if you went more than twice. The rating I gave it should probably be lower based on the items to be discussed. Perhaps nostalgia played a part in an extra star.
Claudia is our server today. I found her to be extremely charming and efficient. She was the highlight of the experience. I asked Claudia for one Smash Hoagie and one Cheesesteak. Before I even get into the review, I implore you to look at the pics! Just look at them!!!
First up was the Smash Hoagie. The bread was fresh and tasty, which is important in a sandwich, just as important as the filling. Speaking of which, I am fairly certain there is processed meat in there somewhere. On a personal safety note, NEVER eat the rainbow slime on Roast Beef or Grey Turkey. Ever. Other than that, it was a fine example of a Hoagie. Not.
Prodding the Cheesesteak with a fork first (checking for anything off-color), I determined all at least looked fine and so proceeded to chaw off a hunk. All in all, it wasn’t a bad Cheesesteak, the bread was fresh, the meat not top shelf, but not from the dregs of the food service barrel either; however, the shrooms were definitely canned. Is it really all that difficult, time-consuming, and profitable eating to slice some fresh shrooms in the morning?
The Big Boy says, “Take your kids as they won’t complain; otherwise, Don’s Hoagies is 1000 times better than this below-average fare.”
PS I anticipate people screaming about how their experience was different and this is a local icon, neighborhood favorite…yadda yadda yadda. LOOK AT THE PICS

We usually order take away, the food is always incredible, with outstanding service. This was my first time ordering from the bar. The atmosphere is so relaxing, always fast service with great food! Definitely a place everyone should try. Their hamburgers and grilled chicken sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had, and the fries AMAZING!

Fun little spot to hang out when you want something casual. The drinks are solid, the food comes out quick, and the vibe is super laid-back. Staff is friendly and the place stays pretty lively without feeling overwhelming. Easy spot to pull up with friends for a chill night and reliable service every time I’ve been.
