Double Tap or Tap Tap, as some like to call it, is all about the gaming experience in an adult bar setting celebrating great games, great beer, and great people. With carefully selected taps we decided to call it a Beercade. Sure we’re a bar, but Double Tap is truly a game lovers hang out complete with retro games, current games, pinball, ski ball, shooters and more. We don’t think you’ll find a better hangout anywhere! Share some pizza with friends, and enjoy the games… they’re everywhere! We’re glad you found us and hope to see you soon!

This is an awful dupe for Chuck E. Cheese on state street and there are many, many, many other places to play games in town for less. We gave our card away and left before redeeming all credits it was so bad.
They literally post their QR code all over Oliv Madison to encourage residents to order, but they clearly don’t actually monitor their system after 10 pm. I’ve ordered twice late at night — both times around 10-something, even though their system shows you can order until 11:45 pm. Both times my order just sat there with zero confirmation, zero update, nothing.
The first time, I had to call them once just to get my food delivered. The second time was even worse — I had to call twice before they finally bothered to send it. On that second call they promised it would arrive in “10 minutes,” but it still took over 30 minutes after that — so from the moment I ordered to delivery, the whole process took about an hour and a half. They also only asked for my apartment number after I called, which makes it feel like my order would’ve just been ignored if I hadn’t chased them.
Each time it still took over an hour to arrive overall, and there was zero apology or explanation. It honestly felt like I was bothering them by ordering.
What makes it worse is that I tipped generously both times, thinking maybe they were just busy — but nope, same problem again.
If you can’t actually handle orders after 10 pm, don’t advertise that you’re open until 11:45. Simple as that. Won’t be ordering again.
The bar service was pretty slow, options were very limited. The games, in the span of a $20 game card, 2 games took our credit without letting us play. I would say at least another half the games we played were broken to some extent. Overall very crowded. Spent a lot of money for 45 minutes of broken games. Also keep in mind, each game is about $1.50 and last about 30 seconds so your money doesn’t go very far.
Someone who claimed he worked there started unplugging and restarting games after he overheard us complaining about so many being broken. Turns out he didn’t even work there ? I’m not sure what’s going on with this place but we are extremely disappointed. I would not recommend, better places downtown to spend your money.
