I went here without knowing what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is elegant, very clean, quiet, and lowkey. They have such a wide selection of food, it took us forever to figure out what we wanted. I ordered the crab cake sandwich; it was huge, affordable, and absolutely delicious. My boyfriend got the Ravens burger and loved it as well. The only downside was the coke float. I couldn’t really taste the Coke flavor, so it could’ve been better. Overall, I’d still give this place a 9/10, and we’ll definitely be back!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant and will not be returning. The overall place looks extremely outdated and in serious need of renovation. The dining area didn’t feel clean or inviting, and the atmosphere alone made it hard to enjoy the visit.

The food was even worse — it tasted old and poorly prepared, like it had been sitting around far too long before being served. The texture and flavor were off, and nothing came out fresh or hot the way you would expect. It definitely did not feel worth the price.

Service didn’t make up for it either. The staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, and there was no real effort to check on customers or improve the experience.

I would not recommend eating here. There are much better places to spend your money if you want fresh food and a clean, updated environment.

The service at this location was terrible. Our waitress was very hard to locate and we did not receive any refills in a timely manner. The food was also extremely disappointing.

We ordered the Monte Cristo, which normally includes ham, turkey, cheese, and powdered sugar. While it looked correct, the meat was very dry and had no flavor. My daughter first ordered the roast beef sandwich, but the meat was also dry and unappetizing. She switched to the ham sandwich, and unfortunately that was just as bad. We ended up eating only half of our meal.

When we raised our concerns, the staff refused to offer any type of compensation. The manager finally came over, but only after numerous complaints. Overall, the experience was frustrating, the food was poor quality, and the service was unacceptable.

This was our first time visiting the diner. The pictures were only the desserts that we took home. Our dinners were very good and there’s a huge selection on the menu all different kinds of food. The waitress was amazing. The famous fabulous and the desserts are absolutely incredible and affordable.

Overpriced and went downhill. $6.30 for this crusty dehydrated piece of scrapple. $22 for a tiny omelette! I remember when Double T was a good value and tasty.

A wonderful diner! This was a blast from the past for me. I miss the frederick location badly but this one is just as a wonderful. It’s a time capsule and the food is just as amazing as I remember. The customer service is superb! They are very attentive and friendly! I would definitely recommend!

Poor service and bland food. Automatic 18% gratuity.

We were seated after waiting for a short bit. The table cleaner guy gave us water after a couple of mins. However, our waiter was no where to be seen after 25 mins of waiting. 2 groups of diner one across and another on the other aisle got sat after us. Got their orders and got their food even before our waiter came! Had to flag down the table cleaner guy to ask for our waiter.

She eventually came to our table. Apologized in the most bland monotone way. She didn’t even sound sorry, she just sounded like she didn’t care. After we got our food, she never came back to check on us. We also had to flag her down to get our check.

The food wasn’t that great. Our milk shake tasted like bland milk. No flavour or sweetness to it at all. We also don’t get the extra cup like traditional diners will when ordering milk shakes. Eggs on my on my omelet were over cooked. The lox in the omlete tasted like canned salmon.

Overall poor service and bad food. Would not go here again.

Double T Diner is an awesome classic diner. The second you walk in, it feels like stepping back into your childhood—in the best way. The menu is huge and somehow they still do everything really well. Prices are reasonable, and the service is fast and easy, which makes it perfect whether you’re in a rush or just want to sit and enjoy. My favorite was the crab bisque (seriously worth ordering). You can’t miss with this place.

So good, we ate here twice and plan to come back next year. Close to the new Samaritans Purse processing building for Operation Christmas Child, Double T is a cherry on top of a day spent serving the Lord. I had a panini the first night, the fries were delicious! Last night I got the chicken basil and i 100% recommend it. That was delicious. Every dinner is about twice what most can eat, so we bring the leftovers for lunch the next day. The soups are all very good.

And the desserts are worth every calorie.

Moved out of the area, visiting from our new home in Seattle.
Been coming to the Double T since I was 5. Brought my two boys 6 and 17 and they loved it. It’s a staple to Baltimore. Awesome food and excellent service. Chesapeake Benedict is the go to breakfast.
