Even though it doesn’t have all the modern exuberance, this has been one of my favorite restaurants over a decade that I have dined around here. They have a unique and natural taste to food which doesn’t leave you bloated. The portion sizes are big enough for families to share a plate. Their breakfast, the omelets are my favorites, plus their unique desert and cake display at the entrance will leave you salivating everytime you remember the place. Their serví ce is prompt even on packed weekends. The price isn’t that expensive at all. It’s my favorite breakfast place and I can be sure of quality healthy food plus service and so I take my family and visitors there often.

Service is always phenomenal! Wonderful breakfast and big burgers. Chicken noodle soup didn’t have much chicken. They have a fabulous dessert case with almost anything you could imagine. Everything is stored together for several days at least. The several times I’ve gotten cake, I was disappointed because it smelled/tasted like the other desserts, so it seemed like I was eating very old cake.

The food was decent. The service was very slow and not attentive, I will say our waitress tried. All of the staff need some customer service training. The wait to place our order was very long and when we asked the manager who was passing if he could let our waiter know he said ” she’s busy” and walked off. At the checkout the gentleman didn’t speak to “select” guests and the Knights of Columbus people turned their heads whenever we walked by. They shouldn’t be at the front if they don’t choose to speak to some patrons. I would never go back. As 2 business managers, my partner and I were both very disappointed. I would not recommend this location.

Stephalynn was the best waitress ever. We’re super sad this diner is closing. Small business loses to government again

I had a salad and pot pie. I’m unsure if they may make their own blue cheese dressing, but I may as well have asked for mayonnaise. Wouldn’t taste the difference. The pot pie wasn’t bad but didn’t have much flavor either. Other than having a screaming child set next to us the atmosphere wasn’t bad. The wait staff seems caring and attentive.

Portions were very good, my wife’s french dip was excellent, my moussaka, spinach pie, and greek salad. I give 4 stars only because my moussaka was bland. Other than that it was very good. Our waiter was excellent, right on point and attentive.

I went to this restaurant with my parents for brunch one day because I had tried the breakfast options before and enjoyed them. However, the hostess at the front and the cashier at the counter were very disrespectful towards me and my family. We are of Asian descent, and I was aware that the diner is more old-school in presentation and thinking, but the hostess didn’t even greet us. She was friendly towards all the other customers (they were all white, we were the only non-white party), but she kept avoiding eye contact with us, and I could see her giving my family dirty looks. She didn’t greet us the entire time.
When we had finished our food and went up to the counter to pay, the man behind the counter didn’t greet us or make eye contact, and was overall just plain rude towards us and was acting like we were bothering him.
The food itself was good, albeit a bit bland, but overall, it was enjoyable. If anyone who isn’t White wants to dine here, be warned that you may receive some distasteful treatment from some of the staff there.

This place has the iconic look to it; who could resist a vintage diner? Although fundamentally I don’t think the food is good. I ordered a breakfast burrito once and I could’ve bought better at McDonalds. The restaurant is set to close soon.

Double T Diner has been around for many years it was always a nice place to go. Good bang for the buck the disappointing news is it will be closing at the end of December 2023 due to the property being sold. It surely will be missed a lot of good memories in this place.
