Good eats ✅
Good beer, cocktail and mocktail menu ✅
Atmosphere ✅
Cool. Humble. Authentic.
Love the playlist. Rock, Americana beach vibe. Beautiful intentional thought and detail throughout
the decor, menus, including the drink and mocktail menu. GET the Dreaming of you nod to Selena mocktail. It’s delicious coconut and SO FUN to drink! Also tried the pierogies, all American burger, and Fish & Chips (All a GO).
What they brought out was embarrassing.
The burger was burnt.
Not “a little char.”
Burnt.
The bun? Also burnt.
And they’re charging like it’s some elevated Riverwalk experience.
It’s not.
It’s lazy.
When you’re in a high traffic tourist spot and people are paying real money, you don’t get to drop the ball because it’s late and you think no one will call it out.
That’s not a mistake.
That’s a lack of standards.
Do better.
The food portions are decent. EXCELLENT happy hour specials. The food didn’t disappoint (we just had to “doctor” the roast beef po boy). We will be back before we leave!!!

Hubby and I ate here almost every day of our last trip, so this was our first stop on this year’s return. Unfortunately the food did not initially “hit” like before. Hubby’s steak was extremely tough and my fries were cold… however the staff was very accommodating. He ordered something else and it was like the “good old days” . I got extremely turned off when our main server kept rubbing his hair prior to fixing my drink and then later touched his nostrils and then touched ice and fruit . The menu changed and some of my favorites were not on the Dec 2025 menu. [Some plusses- Brandon came in as we were wrapping up with that excellent energy and customer service and made a very good green tea and shouts out to Angel who kept checking in on us]
We sat at the bar and the service was a bit slow, but once we got our orders going the drinks came pretty fast.
We loved all of our cocktails. It was happy hour so I got the espresso martini. Then I got the painkiller which was SO GOOD. My boyfriend got the rum punch and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!
We did have an issue with one of our drinks but the staff was apologetic and comped one of them for us.
I personally think the drinks are better than the food. We ordered the scotch eggs but the dish came out incomplete (was missing the carrot mustard). They explained that the chef in the back was new.
We came back another night to try the burgers. The fries were nicely crispy but they weren’t hot. The burger was decent but I wasn’t a fan of the bread they used! I would have liked it toasted at least to give it some crunch or density. This wasn’t my favorite burger tbh!
