First time to eat at Double Play Diner food was delicious and the desserts were wonderful. Had chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and corn. It reminded me of my mothers canned corn so good. Well be going back to try other items on menu!!!!

My husband and I like to stop at local diners when traveling. We found the Double Play Diner when driving to New Mexico. While looking at the menu, my husband and I laughed about whether we will be faithful to our keto lifestyle or be tempted by the chicken fried steak since we are on vacation. The owner, who is also the cook, heard us and suggested some keto dishes she can make that are not on the menu. Our food was excellent. We will stop by the Double Play when we go through Texico again!

Yea this isnt a great place to spend your money. The food is alright, but unless you like being patronized and treated like a child I would take my money to clovis and be treated like an adult. As soon as you walk in you can hear the head waitress curse at guests she knows and they are always speaking with their outside voices.
