We ordered a mega amount of food for a large celebration. We spent a bundle but it was the WORST Chinese food in Brandon. I’m not sure what people are saying when they stated that the portions and food is good. The PAN fried dishes were all ONIONS and couldn’t hardly find a piece of meat. To only make matters worse the container was just HALF filled. The BATTERED deep fried dishes we ordered were just ALL BREADING. I suppose if you like to pay to eat JUST batter then you may like it. Where’s meat??? Everyone was throughly disgusted with the food! Trust me, we know our Chinese food and this place is definitely one to stay away from. I should’ve taken pictures of what we received to upload here but there was too much going on in the celebration that I overlooked it. Seriously, spend your money somewhere else! I would hate someone else to experience how disappointed and how it ruined what was supposed to be a nice celebration meal.

Ordered Delivery. Got approximately 80 dollars worth of food.
1) Delivery was half the time quoted to me, and the quote was already very fast.
2) Food was piping hot when it arrived, you could tell it was fresh, steaming from inside the delivery bag.
3) Food was absolutely Bussin’ (read: Delicious)
Didn’t get any pictures because it was devoured so fast, sorry about that!

I was so disappointed in our dinner last night. We had the dinner for two and everything was minimal vegetables and barely any meat. I picked out the beef that was in the beef dish and included a picture just how much beef you get.

I have always stopping in to Double Happiness whenever I find myself in Brandon. The wonton soup is very good and the crispy chicken is always good. I like the selection on their smorg and one last item to mention is their excellent beef and broccoli!

We payed a dinner for two for $50 and the amount of food we got seemed and bit short.
It’s not that I asked for lots of food for the least amount money, the thing is that there are other Asian restaurants in Brandon that for the same price you get way more food and sometimes even free drinks.
If you are someone who doesn’t eat that much you’ll probably think it’s enough, but if you are someone who wants both quality and quantity, you better try somewhere else if you are gonna order.
This is my opinion based on the order services, I haven’t tried the buffet so I can’t say anything about it.

Stopped in at Double Happiness on a quiet night and it was really worth it. Food was delicious and Sally was absolutely lovely. Local family run business and lots of choice!
I’m a vegetarian and they did have tofu options plus the egg rolls are SO good.
Highly recommend and make sure you have a chat with the owners since they are great!
