Oh my, oh my… Double D’s brisket is top notch. Best I’ve ever had outside of Texas. Ribs have a slightly sweet rub and are done perfectly. Sauces (three choices I think) are spot on. We were only getting meat to go so didn’t get any sides. Next time though…. Family run, nice folks too. We. Will. Be. Back.!!! Update: 8/13/25. Went back to celebrate our 37th anniversary. Brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and mild sausage were all excellent. Yummy n cheesy Mac n cheese. Green beans were almost a bit spicy, but excellent. Cole slaw was done very well. We drove an hour from home to get there. Well worth the drive.

I saw this place on Google maps and decided to place a simple order. I ordered the Brisket Attack, which is a option of mac n cheese with brisket on top.
This very simple menu item deserves a few expletives to describe how good it was! And if that simple dish is an indicator of the rest of their food, then I’m definitely going back.
Besides the food, I was welcomed heartily when I walked in to pick up my order.

I love absolutely everything about this place. I have been recommending them like crazy to everyone I know because it truly is the best BBQ I’ve ever had! The presence of faith and family are such a blessing and the scenery is cozy and cool with signed Elvis photos! I am a rib fanatic and I am obsessed. The fries are like no other place around, and it’s all home cooked style and delicious! It’s a nice refreshing spot and have been blown away every time we’ve eaten there whether it be take out or dining in.
Also, with a nut allergy it’s refreshing to have a safe place to eat with such a friendly and understanding staff!

We had a great experience! Would highly recommend the AC Sampler, $36 for 4 oz each of chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. They were out of ribs, so we subbed the spicy sausage, but we were so glad we did! Each meat was so tender. The spicy sausage has a kick and was my personal favorite. Open until 9. Friendly staff! Clean and spacious facility. Try the banana pudding!

First time here and considering it another hidden gem found! Best bbq we have had in some time. Nice that it’s close to home, especially being out in the country. Well worth the money for the portions. All staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was busy when we came in but didn’t take long to get your food and have a seat. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

Absolute kindest, welcoming staff who helped me order for the first time. I took my meal to go. There’s a cash discount and the pricing is so reasonable! It’s also easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The food is phenomenal. Everything is seasoned well and flavorful. It was still piping hot when I got back to work to enjoy it. Highly recommend trying this place. 🙂
