First time here, and it’s a cool looking spot. The owners set you down with a smile and told me the specials. The waitress was not too far behind taking our orders. The place looked clean and had plenty of areas to sit in.I had the fish and chips, which were very good. I’ve been trying all the places in town that sells fish and Chips and they have been good and different from each other. Will be back to try the breakfast menu.

I’m from out of town and stopped by for an appointment, I hate to be a negative Nancy but our fries were something foul. The patty on the patty melt needed more seasonings too. My biscuits and gravy were good, but my hashbrowns were not good. They looked and tasted overcooked. I hate leaving negative reviews but it seems someone in the kitchen needs to hear it.

We’ve visited several places along the 101 from Portland to Brookings over the last few years and this morning had the privilege of stopping by Double D’s Cafe!
It is, by far and hands down, our favorite place to eat breakfast along the Oregon Coast!
We immediately felt welcome as we were greeted and quickly seated by the bubbly, super friendly, and adorable Owner!
Listening to our favorite 80’s music coming from the kitchen we enjoyed observing the comings and goings of the regulars to the out-of-towners and thoroughly enjoyed our freshly brewed coffee, waffle, and biscuits & gravy+!
We were well taken care of and our coffee was always full!
Loved learning a bit about the history of the Cafe and the kind parting conversation we had! (I’ve definitely gotta get that double knee surgery )!
Absolutely LOVVVVVE everything about Double D’s Cafe! We’ll be back!♥️

I found Double Ds when looking up a place yo have a classic breakfast, and I am a sucker for double entendre. The staff was on top of everything, friendly, and my plate was to me in less than 10 minutes. The bacon was cooked just right so it wasnt floppy nor burnt, the hashbrowns were delicious, and the gravy was fluffy and not heavy on Tuesday flour or starch! I will definitely be popping back when I return to the area.

Would have used a different card. Had an excellent breakfast. Great quality food. Much better than my choice for breakfast here yesterday morning.

Nice little family diner that provides all the staple American breakfasts you desire. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but not overbearing, and the food was tasty. I ordered the pancake sandwich and though it was more a stack, with the eggs and sausage being atop the hotcakes rather than between them, the smiley face comprised of my sunny side up style eggs and sausage links made me happy, and the taste only added to it. Double D’s is just as good as any traditional breakfast eatery you’ll find.

I ate at this adorable café while visiting the coast of Oregon and the staff is so friendly and they remembered my order when I came in the next day. I walked in and she immediately asked. Can I bring you a cup of decaf coffee and the Cook looked at me from the window and said the same thing as yesterday and I said yes, sir. Food is amazing. People are great. Go visit.
